Hello E-Cig community, new vaper on the block here, so I don't really know the in and outs of things, and I believe I may have just broke my first mod ;(

Yestrday I received my pegasus and Magma clone (purchased from FT) and when I try screwing on the magma it wouldn't sit flush as shown in this pic:

Pic of Magma itself before I forced it flush:

I got a tip to remove the 510 connection and unscrew the bolt so it'll sit flush, unfortunetly it didn't work, sat in the same place, so I decided to use a little more man power strength and twisted it so it sat flush. After I did that I got a tip that I might've cross-threaded it? Can someone tell me what cross threading is? Also here is a pic of my top cap after I forced my way flush:

Will be receivng my battery in a few days, do you guys think everything will work out? :(

Edit: I appreciate any help I can get, thanks E-Cig Community!

It all looks fine. As long as everything's making contact, it'll work. Cross threading shouldn't effect conductivity. I'm not to familiar with the pegasus but some mods have a pin in a pin for a positive connection. As far a making it sit flush, make sure whatever it is you're unscrewing is visibly moving the pin when you look down into the top of your mod.

Hi Guy's, thanks for the help, well I put some man power into it because when I initially twisted it to try to sit flush the top cap of the mod's 510 screw wouldn't move. Then I found out I could twist the mod's top 510 screw off so I did and try to make it sit flush, and it still sat in the same place if the screw was intact fully in, this may sound confusing the way I worded it. But after I forced it in flush and put the 510 screw in the screw goes ALL the way in like it did initially when I first tried it only this time it sits flush.

Please let me know if I have to clarify anything.
