did i just harm my battery?

While out shopping earlier I picked up an Efest 18650 2500mah (the purple one). I stuck it in my mod while I was still in the store. I started vaping with it and forgot to check the voltage on it. I just now noticed I was getting very small hits and decided to check the voltage on it. It was down to a 3.23V. So I pulled it out of my mod and threw it on the charger fast!!!

Did I cause any long term harm to it by draining it that low? If so, I will just buy another one tomorrow. Right now they are only $6 at my local vape shop

as long as you did not go below 3.2 everything should be fine. You can actually go lower, but 3.2 is recommended.

3.2v is fine, that is actually the cutoff on most VV mods. Most battery's have discharge voltage between 2.5-2.8v but taking them that low is harder on that battery.

1: No. No harm.

2: Its if it gets below 2.something maybe 2.5 or something like that, if you put it on the charger at that stage it simply won't charge; pretty much gone at that point.

I wasn't paying attention one day while chain vaping and took one down to 2.93 and put it on the charger and it was just fine. Wasn't the best thing for the battery, but it charged just fine. So you'll be good.
