Did I kill me EVOD battery ?

Hello All...

I was trying to do my first rebuild of a EVOD Coil, the resistant of the first one was 1.3

I tried on my EVOD battery, and it did not work, then I moved to my MVP 2.0 and it work just average.

But now that I tried to use again the EVOD Battery with a brand new coil, it is not working, after a couple of seconds pushing the button it blinks three times and stops working.

Any suggestion?

That's a protection, those batteries arent made to handle lower than 1.8 actually. They can handle 1.5 ohm though.
If you go under that safety range, you've a great risk of exploding your battery.

My goto evod coil is a 30 guage with 8 wraps around a 1/16 drill bit running at 1.8 ohms with cotton.

I usually run them on an ego twist at 3.8-4.0v.

You may have shorted the evod. Is it fully charged? Try a new coil, even though you tried a new one it could be bad but try it on the MVP2 before knowing for sure.

Is there any way to know if the battery is dead?

Regardless of what tank I'm using, it only blinks 5 times everytime that I push the button, and without the tank it keeps steady if I push the button
