Did I make a Good First Purchase??

Hi All!!
I am SOO excited to start vaping!!
A little background. I am 24 and have been smoking analogs since I was 16, consistently a pack a day of Newports (ugh, i hate it)
Smoking for me is about the "act" of smoking and the relaxation of smoking, along with smoking when I am bored.
Today, I purchased a Blow EZpen for myself and my husband--mine is pink of coarse :)
I also purchased Apple e-liquid.
Was this a good first purchase? Anything I should be cautious of? Any advice for me?

** I have tried the e-cigs when they first became popular in my town back in 2009, but HATED them.. Im excited to try my pen :D

I started vaping myself just a little while ago and a lot of it boils down to personal preference. I started with a unit with widely available coils (Kanger minitank 2) and I spent a lot of time looking over this forum (and reddit) as well as going through youtube videos about vaping products. There is a learning curve involved depending on how deeply you want to get into it. I smoked for over 35 years and wish I would have stopped when I was 24... I wouldn't have COPD now :(

Hello and welcome to the forum Chelsea. Glad to have you here!:)

Your pen will serve you for a while. Looks like the tank is disposable (if you can't take it apart and replace the coil). So when the coil no longer is vaporizing the eliquid you will have to replace it. At that point you can get something much better.

Welcome Chelsea! Great choice to choose vaping over smoking. Your set up should do you for awhile. Like Susan said you will have to replace your tank soon so you should start looking at some that are not disposable. Kanger Mini Protank 2 or Aerotank and the Aspire Nautilus are a few good ones. AAlso try to read as much here as you can. There is a huge learning curve but the good news is there are plenty of folks here willing to walk you through. Next time ask before you buy though. You'll save some money that way.

Thanks for all of the positibe and encouraging replies! I read great reviews of this product and for my price range I thought was a great deal. I was unaware of the tanks being disposable as i wanted something that will last.. Another question, is it possible to purchase a "non disposable" tank and use with the pen? Sorry if technical terms arent on par with lingo, im learning ;)

TAnother question, is it possible to purchase a "non disposable" tank and use with the pen?

Possibly -- if your pen has ego cone threading or 510 threading. If your pen has something else, you will only be able to purchase whatever is made by your pens manufacturer.
