Personally I go into places and purposely vape and blow out huge clouds trying to get a reaction and not one person has said a thing I have done it everywhere church and hospital included I think to myself if, I lit an analog would you not say anything to me either? lol I have had no problems vaping anywhere as of yet.
I am using an ego tank I have even tried it with one that looks like a real cig with red led and a 510 with blue led and I can't get a reaction at all I think maybe they are just afraid of me that I may knock them out or something I do look kinda menacing at 6 foot tall 250 lbs with long hair and what not they may just be intimated that I am a big guy I dunno.
