I'm here, when I'm here
Obviously the nicotine and the feel help a lot, but for me, jumping into the hobby aspect of vaping help me a LOT. I tend to jump into things with both feet. Doing the research on mods, tanks, juices etc. have really helped keep my mind off of smoking almost as much as the vapor itself! I am definitely not saving money vs smoking right now, but I'm having a blast and haven't had a smoke in days! Anyone else find the hobby super helpful too? If you're on this forum, I'm guessing yes ;)

Hobby?! Did someone say "hobby"?! Three times! I saw it three times!! Please see signature below! :D

Happy Vaping!! :vapor:

For me it definitely started with the nicotine, but the more I read the deeper I get into the hobby side of it. You can keep it simple by just buying coils and juice and charging your battery, or you ( like me) can get into mods, RBA's, RDA's, and DIY juice. I can't begin to tell you how many perfectly good coils I've removed from my RDA's just so I could build the latest really cool coil I saw on YouTube.
Collecting is another bug I caught as well. I could use a completely different setup every day of the week for two weeks.
The wife isn't too happy with the collecting part of it :(

i have been "quitting" tobacco for 15 years (un-successfully)... vaping seems to be a hope. I love the rush a nicotine laden cigarette offers and and quick to find an excuse to light up. Vaping seems to be a less harmful and less expensive (v.s gum and lozenge) method of nicotine delivery. Plus it's so much like smoking (sans the smell and hassle). This seems to fill the hole*, and feed the dragon.Safe? Maybe... I'm sure the Docs have not yet chimed in (long term)... but the testimonials I have read are at least convincing. There has to be a catch (besides the obvious feeding an addiction of nicotine).

*you (ex) smokers know about the hole.

Yeah, definitely. I never actually picked up smoking for very long, only very lightly for about a month. I enjoyed it and the buzz I got from the nicotine. I started doing some research on vaping after I started noticing a lot of vape shops popping up near me. Ultimately I decided to try an Eversmoke cigalike, but I didn't enjoy the limited amount of flavours. Eventually I picked up a pretty basic mechanical mod as well as a small tank to try out some different ejuices, loving it so far.
