Why yes whiskey, I did have an Avatar Party. I testify! I testify! And the bird! And the fireworks!
There was a lot of witty banter, tons of theme picture posts, a welcome thread in the veteran's forum, crazy avatars...and cupcakes. And fireworks. I remember the fireworks! And all the people that popped in during the day to say "Hi". All I had to do was show up!
My theme was hard for you.... Gilligan's Island. lol. Didn't realize that it might be hard for you since there were only 3 gals on the island. lol. You guys pulled it off with flying colors. We all went on a "three hour tour". On the boat. Rough seas. Shipwreck. Island stuff. And even a short episode from the "Rescue from Gilligan's Island". Of course we all ended back here on e-cig island ECF where vaping is allowed and the outside world is crazy still puffing tobacco....
It was a blast. And celebrating it was so much fun since I got to chat with so many friends and make many new ones. And now, I get to help others celebrate their first anniversary with ECF.
Thanks again whiskey for starting the thread. And thanks to all the ECF'ers who help others stay with e-cigs and all those in the pre-vet thread that love to party all the time!

I had my pre vet party, and on short notice, but it was more than i expected! Thank you a ton guys!! I wouldnt do a thing to change it. Its fun, interactive, and a perfect display of ECF's unselfishness and warm welcomings.

My Pre Vet Party was just a drunken brawl...I hardly remember it being as I passed out soon after they started serving all those fancy champaign toasts........JUST KIDDING!!!
No...really it was such a fun thing...well wishers, fireworks, people supporting your first year of vaping. If all that fun, support and love doesn't keep you off cigarettes, nothing will. It was an event I will never forget....ECF members taking all that time to show you that we are in this together. LOVED IT!

my prevet party was inspiring. I wasn't all that "up" about becoming a vet until I found out there would be a party 
now I feel "re-inspired" like I felt when I first started vaping a year ago. I get no support in the real world, so this forum makes me feel supported and the party made me feel that way too.

I had mine yesterday. What a blast. The pre-vet gang is pretty special. They know how to welcome and make it fun as we celebrate making it in the vaping world and participating in ECF for a year. ECF is the best forum I've ever been on and this group is a great example of many of the fine people I've met and chatted with here. Plus, it's open to everyone -- all your friends can show up! So, if you like to play -- have fun. If not -- do it anyway. It is quite an accomplishment--so let yourself be pampered for a day. We are worth it!

Hello! I just turned today and it was amazing!!!! I picked an avater theme and so many people "played". I am computer challenged and I had so many friends supporting me and trying to get me to where I supposed to be. 
I finally managed to get myself to my own welcome thread and it was just awesome. It reminded me of when I was a kid and got so much attention on my birthday with a bunch of friends there. In my busy life, single mom, working all the time, this forum has become my place to go for fun. The core people here deserve an extra special cheer for making this all happen.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I had a blast!!! Now all I have to do is get help from my daughter to get me into the contest thread and I'm good to go.

I turned vet today and had a blast. My theme was monkeys and I had alot of people helping me celebrate my day. Today was like having a childhood birthday all over again. I came to the ECF looking for some information over a year ago, and was impressed from the first time I posted. The people here have been so helpful in my journey and my hope is that I to can help someone with the transition away from cigarettes..
I so enjoyed the Pre-Vet party! So many people took time to celebrate with me and I feel so lucky to be a member of this generous community we are blessed with. This is a day I will never forget, not only for the community of people, but for celebrating with all of us our freedom from smoking. I really never thought I would be able to say that I don't smoke anymore. Thank You, Thank You, Thank All of you!
I would like to say I was so pleased with the pictures of Dragons you all found, there were some really cool ones. I really enjoyed my party, you all made me feel like I had achieved something but more than that showed me what a wonderful bunch of people you all are. All the best xxx
