Did you charge your KGO for 8 hours on the initial charge?

My KGO will be here tomorrow and I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I know it's going to be torture to wait for it to charge for the recommended 8 hours before I try it out, so I thought I'd ask: Did you charge your KGO for 8 hours before you used it for the first time, and if not, do you think it negatively impacted your battery's life or ability to hold a charge?

I've seen it written about other models that the manufacturer's recommendation of a full 8-hour charge is not really necessary, but haven't seen anyone say that about a KGO, so I'm wondering what the consensus is. I want to do what's best for my new batteries, but I sure don't want to wait longer than I have to to give my KGO a test drive.

It's a lithium ion Battery. It is bad to discharge them all the way. But if you want to take a few tokes before you charge it up fully, go for it, it won't hurt it.

they come almost fully charged, at least mine did. As for the initial 8 hour charge, I did that with one of them and cannot tell any difference between that battery and the one I vaped on immediately.

ubetcha, enjoy your kGo. I would suggest picking up some resurrectors from CCV, they run beautifully on the kGo's, really nice vape.

Ive charged my for 8 hours for the inital charge But this was before i read the post about lit ion batteries. There is no memory and it wont effect the life or charge. So technically you dont have to charge it for the full 8 hours. Just charge it untill the green light turns on and vape.

I decided to split the difference. I charged one of them till the green light came on (about 20 minutes) and I'm vaping that one right now. (YEAH BABY!) The other 2 batteries will get the full 8 hours to satisfy my own OCD tendencies.

And can I just say...this is a really sexy, well-made PV. I have a 1.7 SmokTek dual coil XL carto on it and woweeeeee, it's a fog machine and delivers the perfect, not-too-harsh throat hit. So glad I chose this one. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Same setup I'm using...FOG MACHINE!!!!!
