I've noticed how much I hate the smell of analog smoke on someone. You know, that smell from someone that smokes in their house, car, office, bathroom, and everywhere in between? Blech. On the rare occasion that I've screwed up and asked a buddy for a drag of a stinky, the smell in my facial hair makes me sick for the next half a day!

Yes! I am looking for a place that will detail the hell out of my car with special emphasis and getting the smoke smell out! I haven't smoked in the house as I have a son that lives with me.

I did get one of the best comments recently. I was visiting my parents and givin' Mom a hug goodbye. She stopped me for second and quietly said, "One of the best things about this new vapin' thing is you don't smell like cigarettes anymore."

Just one of the many new advantages. The disadvantage of my sense of smell getting better is I live FAR too close to farmer's fields. Manure fertilizer time SUCKS!

Hey taltos, it sounds crazy but cut a onion in 4-8 pcs and put that in a bowl in your car for a day or so. It sucks the stink out of your car and after the onion smell gos away in a few days its much nicer.

I've noticed the same thing.
Was driving my bus the other day, stopped to pick up a passenger.
Saw that he was smoking, so I waited til he flicked the ciggy away before opening the doors.
Now, bearing in mind that there are double doors and a "bandit screen" between me and this guy, I swear I could smell the stinky even before opening the door. Our bandit screens pretty much seal us into the cab, with just a small hole for tickets and cash.

My sense of smell now seems to be better than before I smoked, which sometimes can be a bad thing. I've no intention of joining a gym for this reason

I noticed my smell come back after a few days. The biggest is the elevator in our office building. I can smell it when I'm in there with some of the people I use to smoke with, and sometimes even when nobody is in there I can tell someone that just smoked was in the elevator. Just got my first compliment yesterday when I girl I know gave me a hug after work and told me a smelled good...This would of never happened, because my clothes would of been stinking like smoke by that time of day.

I don't need as much cologne either.

Little story. I quit ages ago (why I took it back up is beyond me) but I used to be a hair stylist. Anytime I went to was a clients hair that smoked it would almost gag me. The stench would be soooo strong I had to9 turn my head several times. And if the client I would just have to tell them 'I can tell you smoke because it gets trapped in your hair' some would be embarrassed but understood. Think Im going to trade smoking for vaping and a bath & body works addiction.

You will notice how much cleaner your car will stay now. I never realized how many ashes were scattered everywhere! Plus no more have ro roll down your windows nice especially in the winter! Sometimes I still crack mine outta habit. The way I got most of the smell out of my car was I sprinkled the seats with baking soda and let it sit for a couple of hours and then gave it a real good vacuuming and finished off with Febreze. Worked like a charm according to my daughter.

Don't forget about the fogged up windows and windshield. Fogged up with that oily residue that never seams to come off.

I need to try that baking soda trick. Thanks for the idea.

Yes, I'm in Arizona and this is the time of year that you no longer want to roll down the windows. I'm a lizard and love the sun but here it is supposed to be 117 - 119 this weekend. Even I don't want that! It is nice to not have to roll the window down. I still do at night when it isn't over 110 but nice not to have to!!!

I'm keeping all these smell clearing ideas and will be putting them to work!
