did you guys know that SEAL is meant to stay ON?

I had no idea that plastic seal is meant to stay on and i have been vaping and gurgling thinking it was part of the game. not the rings on the spinner but the SHIELD on the very top of this image

i FINALLY took out a new lil atty put it in my protank2 on my vision spinner and am now smoking a 2.5ohm at 4.3 volts and it is COMPLETELY different.

i may sound like a fool posting this... but hopefully if this helps even one person then i did my duty!!

I could see someone else making that mistake. I knew in advance, as I watched a few videos about protanks before I bought one. I'm sure not everyone researches as much as I do before buying things. lol

You referring to the silicone cap that has the post coming through it? Yeah, you don't want to remove that normally, can cause problems, as I am sure you are now aware.

YESS the silicon cap. i had no idea how much of a role it played untill i put in my fresh atty with the cap on. .... man, i can not even explain how badly i was missing out!

Once when I disassembled it, I took mine off for a full cleaning, I totally forgot to put it back on and started vaping and couldn't figure out what was going on and why it was leaking, then I spotted that little silicone cap on the table...

What did you do with the cap you removed? Throw it away?
I have a tray I put all my vape stuff in. Had I not known to leave it on and taken it off as you did, I would've found it sitting in the tray.

We all have our learning curves. I hit one myself the last day or 2.

I set up a brand new CE6 Clearo and it just didn't vape worth a darn. Stuck it on my vamo to check the ohms and it read 5.9 YIKES, Checked again 4.2, checked again 9.9. Yeah good indication of a short. So I changed the head. It did the same thing. Changed the head again it did the same thing. rinse and repeat until out of new heads. Still getting wierd Ohms. SO I think to myself going to have to rebuild all these heads I must have got a bad batch.

Stuck one of the rebuilt ones in another clearo and it was fine. Then it dawned on me. Maybe it isn't the heads going wonky, maybe it is the base of that new CE6. SO I took the working head out of the 2nd clearo and put it in the wonky one...sure enough 9.9 again. Big DUH moment. After a couple of days of dicking with it and rebuilding all the heads it wasn't the heads at all.

It happens to all of us. We learn by doing it seems.

Funny you should say that; I just bought a toolbox specific for my vape stuff and a stand for my mods.
Tray has gotten too small.

Yes, If I am not paying attention I have been know to do that..once you get that mouthful of juice it's..OMG I forgot the cap!

Hahah right. I kept some of the caps so basically I have to order some new attys to get the cap.

I have a pro tank 1, pro tank 2, evod and only a month later I am vaping in peace!!

I put an O ring that was supposed to go inside my kanger T3, around the bottom post. Figured it out an hour after rebuilding and filling it up. Not going to fix it till this tank of juice is vaped. Till then, it will stand on it's head. You have to treat a lot of vapegear like that. Stand this on its head, keep that sideways when vaping it, don't forget to line that up, make sure that is in the right spot...

I don't mind keeping Seal on. He did a few good songs back in the day.
