Did you switch with as many analog brands?

...as you do with ejuice?
I notice so many people have several juices they use when they vape,I hear "everyday vape" and such all the time. When I smoked analogs I usually bought what I liked and was cheaper which was usually USA Gold or Pall Mall, with vaping when I find one I like I stay with it all the time and usually only switch to another when I have too like flavor discontinued, store out of business, etc.

There are many reasons for alternating flavors when vaping as opposed to smoking. I guess number one would be there just aren't such an array of flavors to smoke. Most do, however, try many brands until they find the one they prefer and then continue to switch as prices, etc. dictate. With vaping there is "vaper's tongue" to be considered by some. I much prefer tobacco vapes but do vape two non-tobaccos.. one fruit and one dessert... to avoid my tobacco buds getting over worked and going "numb" for a while. I'm really not into fruits or desserts so I tire of them pretty quickly and have to change them up. Also there's the hobby aspect when vaping just becomes an adventure including flavors. And another important one is doing whatever one has to do to stay distracted from smokes. Sometimes that require a new interest like a new flavor to concentrate on instead of obsessively thinking about smokes... better for that new distraction than new expensive hardware. Then... of course... what's that saying? "Variety is the spice of life." ;)

When I first started smoking at 15 =( I tried every cig you can ever imagine. At one point I had at least 14 different brands on hand. As my addiction matured I settled into my fav smoke of all time Marlboro Lights. MMmmmmmm just typing the name gives me chill bumps and triggers cravings. Once I found my poison I would only smoke other brands if they were bummed off someone else.

I don't even mind that much when I get a juice that I don't like, its awesome just to have the freedom to switch flavors at will ...

Smoked menthols for 46 years, and Halo SubZero is now my favorite juice, but fruit flavors make a good mixer ...

There's just no equivalent in the tobacco world for mixing juices, and even if you don't DIY, you can be pretty creative with commercial flavors ...

I smoked Kool Milds for years, until "regulations" forced them to drop the word "Mild" and change to "Blue", something about "misleading" the public that "Milds" were less dangerous ...

Anti-tobacco fanatics are like the schoolyard bully that just won't quit, never tires of the abuse, and feels self-righteous about it ...

...but it becomes a hobby more than a habit and I won't go back
+1 on that. I only ever smoked RJ Reynolds, ergo camels and the like, and I find myself trying out more vaping than analogs. I think it's more because with analogs theres really only two choices: menthol or non-menthol, unless you count cloves which are not easy to come by. But for the most part I agree with you, I have a few that I use all the time. The trying out part is just that - trying out.

Nope. I started on one "premium brand" analog, and switched between just a few different economy brands until I found what pleased me more, and pretty much stuck with it until I quit smoking and picked up vaping full time.

I know some of my juice-swapping is due to the fact that I'm still looking around at different vendors and different flavors, trying to find out what I like and what I don't like.

I smoked Camel Lights 99s (some Pall Mall red 100s when money was tight) for the better part of 20 years; I liked cloves, too, but only bought about six packs of Djarum Blacks a year. I like to have a Turkish tobacco liquid around for after meals and with beer/wine. Most of the time, I vape bakery/dessert; less often, coffee and fruit.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I was very frustrated for the first few days because I didn't like what I'd bought. When I went online and looked for a cinnamon and bought a Protank to smoke it in, I knew this was for me and I would stop smoking cigarettes. Hot Cinnamon from Vermillion River. Tasted great right away.

I got a couple of other flavors that didn't really work out but they're not as bad to me now.

I'm waiting for more to come in the mail and I hope like hell they don't need to be steeped because I really, REALLY want a new flavor. I switch out throughout the day. I like the variety and making a flavor taste better again after something else.

If you're having trouble finding a flavor, look in the liquid forums to see what other people suggest. I find the candy flavors are the best tasting for me right now.

As soon as you find one you really like, however, you'll KNOW you're going to be okay.

I really couldn't vape the same flavor day in and day out, though. Not like cigarettes where we didn't even realize how bad they tasted after so many years of smoking.

I agree,I have known vaping friends that had a problem with their PV and had to have a analog to get them through. When I have a problem like that I find it easier to wait rather than when I smoked analogs all the time. I swore to myself I would never have another analog even if vaping were outlawed.
I continued to smoke into my first vaping years UNTIL....1) I learned to always have "Back ups" handy (back up batteries, carts/tanks) and 2) I found that pefectly satisfying substitute for analgues. The latter for me required increasing
the nic. level; as well as finding the flavor. the "flavor" son turned into multi-flavors- a choice that wasnt available when I began smoking tobacco. There werent flavored camels or what ever years ago, as might be in the marketplace today.
