lolI've been off them for almost 3 months now so I've pretty much worked through most of the triggers that made me crave a smoke. And trust me, after 50 plus years and 5 - 6 packs a day I had a lot of them!
I seem to get a craving out of the blue for no real reason, it just hits me and for just a short time, I've had no problem fighting it off but it's real when it hits me.
Once in a while I still want one after I eat, but much less now.
Walking my dog will trigger it.
When I go in the bathroom to take a shower it hits me, I always used to have a smoke just before getting in the shower.
Oh and that other thing we do in the bathroom still triggers it too. lol
Talking on the phone will make me reach in my pocket time after time.
Driving in the car I still think about it.
And after sex, I just don't know what to do with the other hand, lol. j/k
I'm sure there are other things too, but even these are not that bad any more. I'm not sure I'll ever stop thinking about smoking all together. They were my best friends for a lot of years I'm sad to say.
But the one great thing is; I no longer wake up out of a dead sleep just to have a cigarette. That one used to drive me crazy.
You smoked for 50 years? You must be old!
You're lucky you can still have sex! Much less go to the bathroom!
