i already introduced myself KANO IN DU30 LAND, that being said ...

I am using a Serpent Mini and going thru drip tip o rings, I need the size and I'm guessing they should be silicone ? I contacted WOTOFO and they only responded 8mm x 1mm. My guess is 8 is OD but Googleing and I saw only one that said 9mm OD. 9mm seems too big. I will have a friend bring back to me from the US. Not sure why I've gone thru 3 in 2 months.

These ORings seem like they will be a while getting to me, anybody see a problem with using TEFLON TAPE to get by in the mean time ?

Where is the forum on making ones own E Juices ?

Thanks and again sorry

There are many sub-forums here and also a search function inn there upper right. As to O-rings, they come in quite a few different materials.

As to any piece of hardware, I go to YouTube to see if anyone is breaking the item down and talking about the good and bad in "Their" opinion.

Many pieces of hardware, because there are so many, get their own thread for owners to gab about and learners to learn from.

Get to know this very large forum.

As to O-rings, I go to O-Rings.com and just use the medium quality. Most of the O-rings that come with our hardware are made in China along with the rest of the hardware. O-Rings.com stuff is made to U.S. specifications. Just have to find the right size. I bought about 10 of most all of them and have them separated and labeled in ziplock baggies.

Having more sizes available to me, I can experiment to see if a larger or fatter o-ring stops a leak. It all goes down to the hobby of tinkering.

Hi Bang
Are you putting juice on those o rings before reinstalling the drip tip? I cringe when I first pull the drip tip out because the manufacturer never seems to lubricate them and I've seen damage occur in that first pull. From that point on I'm very careful to keep them well lubed.
I've had luck stretching smaller ones to make them fit, especially if the drip tip has a tight tolerance on its fit. The silicone ones stretch best but you can make the rubber ones work too. Have you any other tanks as they usually come with extras. Also the pre-made coils come with o rings too that can be made to work.
I'm sure you can use teflon tape (in fact that's probably a very good idea) as it wouldn't have any smell or anything to it and the heat from the coil shouldn't bother it too much.

I take new components apart when I get them. Very hot water and a toothbrush. Then I us a hair dryer to properly dry each piece. The tooth brush helps get into the corners.

Anyway, I get my finger tips wet with juice and handle each part. Then assemble. After that I wipe the out side down with a hot dishrag.

But, so important, gotta use the hair dryer at lower power.

...Darn, j/k about the hair dryer...

I would put dental floss under the O ring.

Teflon tape safety all Depends on the temp. Teflon (ptfe) starts out gassing at 599/degrees Fahrenheit. Outgassing teflon is dangerous to tge lungs.

Good to know about juicing the ORings. I am going to go with 8mm per WOTOFO. I don't have a micrometer and my last ORing is done but measured against a ruler by eye. Probably hit eBay for 20 or so.

Any reasons for all that ??? I guess I just jumped into VAPING. Can you point me to info why one would do all that ? I guess too late because I've been hitting right out of the box at my local Vape store.

To remove any production oils or minute bits of metal. I have run into noticeably dirty atties on occasion and just got into the habit. Just a good inspection, too.

If you ask the question as a separate thread, all kinds of initial cleaning routines will come up. Sonic cleaners, I even just saw a thread for cleaning via a pressure cooker.

Some attys arent cleaned of the machine oil ot coolant they use for the Milling machine.

Either Wash with soap abd water (Dawn detergent is one of the best.

Or use an ultrasonic cleaner.

Now you tell me. LOL How nice of them. Like they say, WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER. I believe in the 5 second rule also.
