Didn't really WANT to quit smoking

It's funny, I heard the radio ads for this and went to the page about two weeks ago. Almost signed up for a auto renewing, pre filled cartidge deal but decided to do some research. Found this forum, Read the 6 part intro to vaping, and ordered a 510 starter kit for the wife and I to try. After a few days, I got a pcc for her, a few more batts, atty's, carts, and myself an eGo batt and charger. We are on day 11 without an analog after smoking for over 15 years. It has been effortless to not smoke. My next orders for e-juice will be a 6mg nic for her (she barely vapes now even ) and down to 11mg for me (heavy vaper, was heavy smoker). Even with all the $$ spent, we are about to our break even point already. Got several others on board, and so many people were asking me for info, I started a facebook page (Vaping | Facebook if interested) to update as I try new things and learn more about all this. Things are smelling and tasting different, so happy to have found this! Thanks to this forum, I didn't buy the wrong brand and would have been smoking again in no time!

This is actually what I tell smokers... This is a great way to quit if you want to, but especially if you DON'T want to quit (if you need to for medical reasons, significant other's allergies, etc). Since many of my friends smoke, I did a facebook post that easily found 200 of my facebook friends, and encouraged them to repost. Of course I included links, leading them here for more info. I've "liked" your facebook page. And posted my little "snippet" to the wall. I love spreading the word!!

i've found the easiest way to quit smoking is by just picking up a pv and doing it. don't even think about it, just replace your cig with a pv. don't think "this is my last cigarette" because you'll end up with anxiety and psyching yourself out. just quietly and subconsciously alter your routine. let your hands do the thinking, not your brain lol.

i didn't really want to quit but i find that PVs will cost me less in the long run, plus i want to know what my stamina level is without smoking (been smoking since high school) because i love endurance sports like running and cycling...turns out when i got the eGo, i gave up analogs...it took me about one week to give up analogs since the eGo...analogs analogs started tasting awful and so the voice came and said if you don't like how it taste why'd you want to smoke it? hahaha, as easy as that :) cheers and happy vaping all!

I don't see it as 'quitting'...gotta think positive...I'm just glad I don't stink anymore!

that's true too IMHO but it is only true because of the nicotine, but when the time comes that we vape 0mg nicotine would you define it as quitting?

Anyway, i get less cravings for a vape compared to the cravings i used to get from analogs (I wonder if anyone else does too), it is just something that makes me smile when i think of it...and yep, we don't stink anymore cheers to that! :)
