Difference between 1.8 and 2.4 Resistance?

Still trying to order my Spinner/Twist Ego VV tank Combo - yes I'll get it ordered sometime today/tonight:)

I am ordering extra atomizer heads, and it gives me a choice of 1.8 and 2.4. (I'm getting one Kanger EVOD and one mini-Protank).

I don't care about the technical details (too much). Just want to better understand what it really means to my vaping experience please!

Thanks
Lisa

Simplest terms... Higher the number the longer it takes to heat the coil and vaporize the liquid. For the gear you have listed, I had a very similar setup. I like the 1.8 ohms better. This can all change with different batteries, and such though. Also be aware, the new coils you get will rarely all be the stated resistance. Most often they will be higher or lower then stated. That's why many of us choose to rebuild our own. I haven't yet, but I am about to as I am running down my stockpile of stock heads.

lower numbers burn hotter faster.
you should be fine.

with your spinner, you can raise the voltage to get your coil to burn hotter faster, or lower to burn slower to a less high top temperature.

this adjusts your flavor, sometimes coil life, and maintenance requirements (cleaning the coil or changing the wick).

Of course, if you vape more than less, you cycle through more juice which may affect the need to clean or change coils/wicks/heads.

The question that should be asked to experienced rebuilders is which coil gives you better vape? There are lots of combinations that would produce the same resistance. Examples: more wraps using a thicker wire or less wraps using thinner wire. Which do you prefer? Does a thicker wire drains the battery faster than the thinner one? Assuming both are set up at the same resistance. (I don't have much experience yet, that's why I want to know myself.)
