Hi
Was wondering if anyone can really tell the difference between 8mg & 11mg.
Background: I started vaping at end of Dec with "lights" from another source (sorry V4L) - which according to their info is 6mg. When I found V4L in mid Jan, I started with 8mg, but when one flavor I wanted wasn't avail. in 8, I grabbed 11. Now I'm all 11mg.
Question: I can't figure out if I was super-chain-vaping on 6 & 8 because I was in the throes of quitting and now am I only chain-vaping 11mg because I so love my Cafe Mocha or is it because I need a higher level of nic?
Am considering placing a juice order, but Cafe Mocha is only avail in 8 or 18 (I've vaped 18 and get a wee bit light headed - don't want that strong)

Any observations? suggestions? random thoughts?
thanks dear purples...................

Well you can try to go up to I believe there is 14, and the light headedness from the 18 will pass, I get it with 24 sometimes, when I have not vaped in 2 or 3 hours or so. But there is a difference between 8 and 11mg, think of it in terms of this, and I will need someone to correct me on some not wrong info but off info.

every number is in the 100ths for the mg, so 8mg bottle in a 30ml bottle I believe is .8

Now a regular cigarette is 1.1mg of nic so 11mg bottle is 1.1mg nic, same with a 11mg carto, it is 1.1mg nic.

you might need to go a wee bit higher, but not too much, if you can get 14 that might be your sweet spot.

Hi linrag,

For my part I vape mosty 11's and 8's (with some 18's thrown in for good measure). I don't notice the difference in terms of nic level from a physiological perspective. Sometimes it seems that I need a stronger TH, especially when beer and wine are involved. I do vape a heck-of-a-lot more at home, sitting on the couch than I do at my desk. My question back to you would be if you were chain vaping 6's and 8's and now you're chain vaping 11's as well, were you chain vaping the 18's too? Maybe give the 18's another go but don't hit it as hard. Otherwise, I'd say you just like to vape, nic level notwithstanding!! :)

Hope that's helpful!

I am down to 8's on everything, except for Wow Peppermint... I tried it at 8mg, and I wasn't happy with the flavor at all. It lost the 'bite' that I liked, and I promptly bumped it back up to 11mg on my next order.

Some say that less nic = more flavor... I'm not so sure that's 100% true for every flavor. Sometimes the bite of the nicotine helps enhance the flavor.

For me the difference between 8mg and 11mg is a personal preference in that the TH is better for me in the 11mg. I primarily vape 11mg for that reason. I've been off cigs long enough now the NIC level is no biggie, but the TH and vapor is all I need. I'd say chhose the lowest NIC level that seems to satisy you and hang with it.

That's kind of what I was thinking - thought I had better flavor at 11mg. thanks!

Was helpful, thanks. Do not chain-vape at 18 - start to get nauseous - may be hitting too hard - will give a lighter touch a go.

When you cut down on the nicotine Ms. Linrag you gain flavor, lose th... The flavor gain is slight, th somewhat larger... 8 to 11 shouldn't be a huge difference... Hope this helps. :)
It does, thank you Mr. Morandir

Thanks - I had never seen the mg to real cig ratio - puts into perspective for me. I'll look for the 14mg, too

thanks to all for replying!

How long is long enough (I mean how long since you quit the stinkies?)? I would love to reach the point that the nic isn't the issue, but I'm afraid to go to 0 mg - afraid I might become a raging ... well.... you know!

Hm, i agree that those searching for TH tend to prefer a larger nic level... however, if that's the true problem, a drop (with an eye dropper) or two of vodka will cure the TH need without raising the nic level.

Seriously? You can put alcohol in your cartos? Does it go into your bloodstream as alcohol?
