I just started vaping a week ago and just bought my second ecig. I started out with a kit from Esmoke which I paid way too much money for and amm going to try and return it because it is a total piece of crap that my wife said smelled like piss. I just went to a shop looking for some cartos and found a 901 kit so I bought it. My question is what is the difference between the 901 and 510. I've read that 510 drip tips fit on a 901 so what else fits it? Can a 510 PT work? Etc. BTW So far I love the Atty over the Carto even though its just been a few hours.

They are different threaded, nothing is cross compatible between the 2 apart from most drip tips, 901 atomizers give a cooler and more flavorful vapor, 510 is a bit harsher and better for people who like the hard throat hit.

You can use KR808D-1 stuff on the 901 batteries too if you buy an adapter from Good Prophets for 99 cents.

Bigfoot, welcome to the forum, first of all! Firefly is right on all points. I have been a very faithful 901 user for almost 2 years. Recently got an extra long (XL) manual battery from Vapor4Life that goes with my 901 atty and that's only made it better. I've found I'm perfectly satisfied with the 901 and why spend tons of money trying every type of ecig made once I found one I liked? I also just got a Riva from the classifieds because it was such a good deal and though I love it, I'm still sitting here right now with my 901. It's a great ecig!

I like and keep a couple of 901 attys around because of the flavor differences especially with fruity or light flavors. However, I've pretty much changed over to the 510 because of the Joye 510 atty which is 2.5 ohms. I find this combination great as I prefer using high drain batteries with 3.7 volts as my all day vaping setup.

Just more food for thought...
