Difference between Nova and V3?

Hi -- I'm still in my experimental phase, trying out all the different options that can screw onto my numerous eGo batteries, including a few Twists. As a backup, I always have some EMDCCs on hand. I still love them.

So far, as to clearos, I really enjoy the V3 clearos. The older stardusts leaked, but not these ones. I haven't had too many issues with them, aside from the fact they really can't be chain vaped. Another con, when the juice starts getting low, I can only take one or two vapes and need to let it sit a few minutes. Turning the voltage down helps. Otherwise, good flavor, throat hit (but not always consistent TH), cheap, easy to clean. Been rotating through three tanks. I rewicked one head and it works great. I'll be attempting a re-coil soon.

I'm curious about the Mini Nova, though. I see they use almost the same heads as the V3. Aside from the ability to get a 3.5 ml tank, are there really that many differences from the V3? Refilling a few times a day doesn't bother me. It only takes a few seconds. Their heads are 2.95 each from altsmoke, vs 1.99 for the V3. And it doesn't appear as if spare metal parts are available, just the tanks.

I'm just seeing if anyone has used both the rebuildable V3s and the Novas, and what sort of experience you've had between the two.

Thanks!

I have both of them and i too noticed that i can't chain vape on the v3 as easily as on the nova's. That said i do like both of them and their heads are inter-changeable with a little change of the silcone grommet and nipple on the v3 heads. The v3 head is also just a tad taller so you may need to do a little more i haven't tried it yet but that is what i read.

You can tell how I feel about them from my signature. At first I thought they were great, but after a while I realized that carto tanks give more flavor and better vapor. The silica wick is a flavor killer, I can't wick them fast enough to keep me happy and I just don't want to get into rebuilding such a small thing. I still use my CE though, it's great on my eGo to take places I don't mind breaking/losing a PV since they are so inexpensive to replace (unlike my cartos tanks!). My new favorites are the RBA's.
