So, now I know the difference between the Provari, and the ZMax- Mike Sheda knows about the Provari, but not the ZMax. 48 pages, and now I know.

Provari is made in America, with a standard one year warranty. You can buy a one year extended warranty. Excellent customer service military grade material. Oh and when the warranty runs out u can send it in for repairs.
Steady vape no matter how low the battery gets.

And it probably hurts if you drop it on your toe.... I'm hoping not to find out! But that thing is heavy for no bigger than it is.... What I always find amazing is how smooth that battery cap goes on... (yeah.. I know.. I find the strangest things interesting)

The weight would be good to offset the Kayfun due in tomorrow to replace the one my wife is now sportin'. Heavy, but less top heavy.

When I save up some, again, I may end up with one. How is the 134?

It really feels good in the hand, and it's easier to adjust power than the provari. (sliding ring vs single button menu). I like it.

And if you're walking through an alley at night you don't have anything to fear, cause it can also be used as a self defense weapon!

I like the Provari interview.

At first, I really wanted either the VTR. I also was looking for the Cyborg version of the DNA20. The DNA20 is not for me, though- it doesn't do well at low voltages. I have also found from playing around with the eVic (that I OVER PAID for at a B&M because it needed a PV quickly), that VW is not really a big deal. I end up adjusting the voltage, or wattage, in the course of the day. The VV on the Provari would be more than adequate for my usage.

Oh... And Mike knows about the American made, extendable one year warranted, heavy if it falls on your toe, (the mass would presumably remain constant even if you missed your toe) Provari.

Here's the difference between Provari and Z Max.

Both of them are $100.00 more than the VV 650 VAMO 2 .

Save your money

VAPE ON

Ah, no, the ZMax can be had for around $60, so that's about $10 to $25 more than the VAMO depending on where you get it (and, as an owner of both, IMHO well worth it). And yep, the Provari is more than $100 more expensive than both the ZMAX and the VAMO. Worth it? I don't know, part of what this thread is all about...

yup.. the provari is expensive.. but it's also one of those, if I buy THIS there is no way I'm going back to analog things...
I would love it if the Vamo V3 was built like the provari. I like the way the P is built, but I still like the controls on the VAMO.

Vamos are made out of stainless steel or brass. You can't get much more heavy duty than that. Other than the center pin problems that plague the Vamos (and just about every 510 device), the Vamos are very solid units for their price point. I can bet that the 5 Vamos I can get for the price of one Provari will outlast the Provari.

yup.. I like my Vamos.... but the threads.. man.. the threads.... :)

True. It's hard to justify the difference in price, so I don't even try... I like them both.

What is it about the threads that people have problems with on the Vamos? I've never had any issues what so ever with my Vamo. Same goes for any of my mods.

OK, here's my version of the story, I haven't read the entire thread, it's date in the lay and my meds are kicking in pretty good right now!:toast:

I read and read and read some more on here when I was ready to upgrade. I do have to say that a lot of the fanboi status really turned me off! But reading and researching the only thing I found even close to comparable was the SS ZMax. Now this is some time ago, the SS ZMax was $129, body only, the Evic was just coming out and was listed at $149 at the time. A HUGE difference in price compared to now, that should tell you something right now!
Now, me being of weak body and ignorant mind, I'm half crippled up mind you, I scrimped and saved, cut and sold firewood, as well as other things my Dr's and wife were VERY unhappy with me doing, to come up with the money to buy a Provari mini. This was Thanksgiving last year. But I got it! It wasn't the "AWWWWWWWW, heaven has hit me moment" I'd hoped for, but certainly better than anything before it, and I could drop it!
Well, pain seems to do strange things to a human mind, as well as lack of sleep, from said pain. So me, being the idiot I am, left a carto tank on it for a while. A buddy of mine called and wanted to know about vaping and why the Provari was so highly thought of. "Well I keep hearing about VW and everybody say's it's so much better, I really want to try it!" So I loaned him my Provari mini for a while. He ended up buying a Zmax right away, but used my Provari. He sold the Zmax right away and bought 2 Provari's! "I can't tell you exactly what the difference is, but the Provari is smoother and VW is a joke on this thing!" His exact words!
So I get my Provari back, but it's acting up, really acting up! Now mind you, I did, and still do, drop this thing 3' onto concrete to show how durable it is, don't try this with another mod! So I figure I'd done something to jolt the board.
I contact Provape's CS, they have me try this, then that, then the other thing. I was polite, but knew it needed to go in regardless, and figured a drop had cracked the board at best! Finally they tell me to send it in. I got no reply as to what was wrong when I asked after it was on it's way back to me. Finally I heard back, after I had it and let it sit on a shelf for a couple of days out of fear of using it!
Yeah, I mentioned I'd left a full tank on it for a while? Juice from said tank had leaked and gotten onto the board corroding it! I think it cost me $6 something to ship it back and get it repaired, that's it, just shipping, one way even!
Mind you, all of this, was clearly MY fault, and they didn't even flinch to fix it! As well as I bought this Thanksgiving! I'd love to hear of someone getting that with a Vamo, ZMax, Evic, whatever, after six months, let alone one month!
Yes, I still do drops to show it off, but I don't leave anything on it that will leak overnight anymore! I wish someone would send me one of the other mods so I can do a side by side drop test to video and post on youtube! Yeah, EPIC fail on that one is my bet!
