Hi all...I'm still fairly new and have a few questions. I primarily use my KR-808 from V4L...I like that size and style for when I am out and about. (and I'm a sucker for the fun colors and jewel tips). Anyway....because of that, I had also purchased this product... Hello Jewels

When I first looked at it on that site..I thought it was more of the size of an analog, just longer. When it arrived I realized I was wrong there...its definitely fatter...more like a magic marker vs a pen. (trying to find the best way to describe it). It works well....battery life is good. I did not like the atty and cartridges it came with though, after a few hits everything would have a really odd taste. So I have been using some of the Boge and SmokeTech 510 cartos on it, and its better.

Now for my main question...what is the difference between this Hello Jewels product that I have, and the eGo or KGO type models? I like having the bigger battery and getting move vapor out of the Hello Jewels 510 as compared to my 808 when I'm at home....but am wondering if I'm still missing out by not having an actual eGo or KGO instead. I've also wanted to try "dripping", which I haven't yet...as I don't know if I can with this model...or even how to do it if I wanted to!

Any insight here would be a big help! Thanks!

Just got my KGO...
Some quick eyeball with a ruler measurements put it at 1/2 inch wide at the ..... Full length with a drip tip is 6.5 inches or 5.625 inches to the end of the carto (cartos that came with it).

According to the site you linked, your battery is 700 mah. The KGO is claimed to be 1100 mah and 3.7v.

In short - the KGO appears to be slightly larger with a more powerful battery.

I've been looking at those Hello Jewels for a couple months now... they are SO pretty!! But like thatguyjeff says,, the biggest difference is the battery size. I decided on the KGO because of the bigger battery size,, it lasts almost two days before I have to recharge it. And I have the red one, so it's pretty too! I get such good vape from it, I don't care that it's bigger than the slim styles I have. Bigger battery=longer life and better vape. I also use cartos,,, don't like atty's and only use them to test new flavors. Crystal Clear vaping has great deals on big packs of 1.7ohm low rez cartos (resurrectors) and a lot of other places sell the EMDCC's... also a good choice for the KGO.. I like the bling too, but for my money I'd rather have the longer batt life and great vape I get with my KGO.

Daniele it looks like the Hello Jewels are an eGo/KGO/Riva type battery. The difference would be the battery size (650, 700, 750, 900, 1100, mah) and the voltage output. Joye eGo is regulated at ~3.3V whereas the Riva, KGO, and Smok EGO are unregulated and have a voltage range of 3.6-4.2V. Victoria didn't indicate the voltage of teh Hello Jewels on the site, but I would assume that it is unregulated 3.6-4.2V.

This is all really helpful - thanks! I was really hesitant to buy an eGo or similar and find out its really no different than the Hello Jewels i got from Victoria. The one thing that I do wonder is if just having a Joyetech, or one of the other more reputable brands will perform better. The batteries on the Hello Jewels definitely last all day, and since the kit came with two I am never without. Like I said before, using the atty and tank carts it came with did not work for me....everything had some really odd tastes to it after a few puffs. Is that the case with eGo or KGO too? I assume I can "drip" with Hellp Jewels? I've not done that yet...but I really hate filling up a carto just to test a juice and then find out I don't like the flavor.

I was hesitant to use the LR cartos on it too...since I wasn't sure of the battery specs...but if I am understanding correctly it sounds like I would be ok there? Right now I've been using 2.5 or 2.0ohms...was nervous to go lower without knowing the facts.

Still curious about an eGo or KGO though....there's just so many things to try out!!
