Since I've moved to using an EVOD and a Protank II almost exclusively, I've noticed that there are a number of different coils that are supposedly "interchangeable" but perform drastically differently. The brick and mortars here clearly don't know the differences. I'm curious if anyone here knows of a write-up that's been done that explores/explains the differences as well as recommends what works best in the various BCC's out there.

The protank coils come in 1.5, 1.8, 2.2 and 2.5

What kind of battery do you have?? If it is a standard 3.7V battery with no adjustment then you'll get different results from different resistance coils. If you have a variable voltage device then you should be able to adjust to the coil you are using.
