Differences in PG from suppliers?

Since I am new to this, I am wondering if there is any difference in PG and VG from different suppliers.

I am using recent VG from High Desert but my PG from another source is probably over 6 months old. Does this stuff have a shelf life? Who are your favorite suppliers?

Highdesert (RTS) is my favorite supplier .For VG i use CVS most of the time .
