Different attys all burning out too soon , help !!!

Well , I have been having some issues with THREE different attys in the last two weeks . Here's the breakdown

standard 510 - Dead after roughly a week , no degradation of vape - just fried
510 - T LR - Vaped for about 4 days - once again ....no loss of vape it just died.
Ego T tank - 4 days of vaping .....no sign of failing then bam that one drops dead too

I confirmed all three were toast using my multimeter.

I am using a standard ego batt and I tested its voltage to be around 3.7 - 4 V with no major fluctuations .

I really have no clue as to why ......the really odd thing is that they have ALL burned out at the same place I sit during the day which is in my office with a desktop and laptop running ......this might sound like an extremely dumb question but what type of interference (if any) could cause this .

Its not entirely impossible that the battery could act like a capacitor , building a charge from all the equipment then when I hit the switch to vape .....boom , overload .

I know that might sound completely insane but I really don't have any other answer as to why , but all the info will be greatly appreciated .

I vape an average amount , not extremely hard on it and I rotate my batteries .....

Cheers
Neil

That voltage seems high for an Ego battery. Was that not under load, just the battery alone (if so then I guess it is reasonable - not sure)?

And were all those attys LR? And if so what ohms?

Were the attys staying wet enough or too dry and getting really hot?

And if you have 2 batteries, any way to tell if you always kill them on the same battery? If no way to tell, perhaps you could put a small sticker or something on one of your batteries so you can tell int he future. Maybe you have a defective battery.

I am mainly asking questions so the next person will have more info. I don't use attys except to drip test juices. I use cartomizers.

Only the 510-T was LR ..... I tested my new one and it was alright ..... good Idea on the batteries , I will mark them for the next time this happens . The batteries under load were 3.4 V I should have checked that earlier .

I am sure the attys were wet enough , I always adjust my wick to make sure the right amount is getting in . I can't stand dry hits or flooded attys and have been vaping long enough to know how to adjust the wick to the sweet spot .

I have been running these batteries for a few months , might be time to get a couple more .
