Different batteries.

I've been using a 650 MAH small battery with a 1.6 ml bottom fed tank. I thought I could get more vapor from a variable voltage battery that goes up to 4.2 volts and a 3.5 ml tank with a 2.2 ohm atomizer/wick. It seems like the lower voltage 650 battery and the small tank give a better hit. Why is it that a bigger battery with higher voltage gives a smoother hit of about the same size, but the throat hit isn't as strong as the smaller set up? I don't know the voltage and ohms of the smaller setup. It's made by a company called clearette.

Sounds to me the atomizer is what you're noticing the difference on. To be simple the 1.6 burns hotter than the 2.2. Hotter means more liquid/ nicotine being vaporized hence the TH. If you want a more detailed understanding look up ohms law. It's to early for me to ramble on about the math behind it lol.

Yup, what cool-breeze said...Put you a 1.6ohm head on that bigger tank, crank up the volts/watts and you will get that big throat hit!!! (or, usually a 1.8 stock head)...1.6 if you rebuild your heads
