What PV do you have?
Usually most PV's are designed for a certain battery, thus larger batteries won't fit....
Example: An OldGoat with one 14500 battery is designed for the 14500 battery and an 18650 battery will not fit....

You can get a 14500 with a higher mah rating.
As a loose guide line, every 100 mah higher is another hour of usage. However, e-cig attys take more power than a flashlight, so the rating is probably closer to a half hour.
If you choose to get a bigger mod that fits an 18650 with 3000 mah, you should be able to make it through the day.

IMO the 18650 battery is one of the best for the price. The voltage is the same so the circuitry works the same. You just need to find a body that will fit them.
The AW 26500 is a super Batt, I wished someone would build a Mod as small as possible housing this Batt !
The 26500 is the same size as a C cell, it's big. 18650s are probably the best value and they're longer and narrower, better for something that fits in your hand. However, if you build an Evercool mod with two 14500s, you can greatly increase run time compared to a single 14500 without jumping up in size too much. You can do the same thing with two 18650s and get huge run time, but like using a 26500, it makes for a big mod.
Spot on CraigHB, I have built 4 Evercool's with 14500's and get no less than a full day of vaping on a set of charged 14500's. As you say, bigger battery = bigger mod.....
Waiting on parts for the solar mod now. I want a squirt gun mod though.

the MV c batt box will not only hold 2 26500 batts but if you shoehorn them in it will house a meter either a MurataPS or TI SIP5 switching regulator, button, and off switch...I have done it so I know it can be done...it was a little dicey but once I figured out a footprint to use it worked out well...I prefer more space to work in but I can go real small...Ask bmwjen about her new Pez dispenser in a few days when she gets it...I did it for the challenge and decided it wasn't as hard as I thought once I saw it...worst part was making a bit more room in the head...
