Different machining designs on the ProVari? Is this different years of production?

I have noticed three different looks the ProVari has.

One has straight lines, another has scallops, while finally there is one with swirly lines.

Are these different years of production?

IIRC, the straight line design was used in the regular size Provari's V1 and V2. The teardorp or scalop design was used in the mini Provari and the swirly lines are used in the V2.5 regular Provari.
