I noticed that ProVari's pictures have three (that I have spotted so far) different cosmetic machining on the bodies. Are those different years of production?

My ProVari is silver. I am wondering if this actually has a finish at all and is bead blasted steel?

If it is bare metal so much the better.

From a pure appearance standpoint I like the straight lines the best, the scallops second, than the swirl the least but all are OK.

What version are these Provari?
Left is standard provari V1/V2 with extension cap. Middle is standard provari V1/V2 with stock cap. Right is sawed off standard provari V1/V2 to become provari mini size.

There are 4 different provaris. Standard provari V1&V2 which has the same ribbed machining. Provari mini which has the tear drop design. Provari standard V2.5 and Provari Mini V2.5 which has the new swirly design. All comes with standard cap and you can buy optional extended cap to be able to fit batteries that are 1 size longer.

The silver is a finish. Like all the others it is stainless steel under that. Do a google image search for 'polished provari' and you'll find pics where people have taken the finish off.

Finish as in final step; yes
Finish as in paint or coating; no

I googled this to death before I bought my first provari and found conflicting statements. Had to find out on my own through purchase. There is no, zero, nada coating on the silver satin provari finish. Statements to the contrary are dis-information. Other companies may paint there mods silver but NOT provari.

I think you are wrong...The Silver is a Satin blasted finish and the ones you have seen are just Polished up....

I was sold a Mini Ver 2.5 but it has the tear drop design, I have tried 2 separate extension end caps and neither will screw on. Something is amiss ?
Both Mini's (v2 and v2.5) have teardrops, the v2.5 has rings added too that the v2 doesn't have. It also has the logo milled instead of sandblasted or paint (whichever they used on v2). Apparently, that was the imputis to get the ball rolling on the cosmetic change because there were so many issues with the sandblast/paint Provari Mini logo in v2.

Are the battery ext. caps you have Provape's or aftermarket ones?

Teardrop design is pre 2.5 version. They changed threading sometime ago.

I know Provape changed the threading with the Provari v1. I was not aware they had ever changed the threading with the Mini, which never had a "version 1". It was introduced after the Provari v2.

Thanks for all the info, i have a 2.5 version because i have the milled logo with rings. the end caps came from an official distributor in the UK (as far as i know) so i assume they are Provapes, Enjuice have gone the extra mile as far as sorting the problem but have no more in stock so i have ordered another one from else where (batteries are charged and waiting), will update when i get it.
