:confused:Sill trying to figure everything out, still confused a lot by all the different models and styles. I'm learning that some models can work with parts from others (Ego/501?) Is there a link somewhere here that shows what batteries and atomizers are compatible? I really like the e-cigs I saw @ Modern Vapor but before I order my 1st kit I wanted to know if I can add a flat tip cartridge from somewhere else. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It can be hard to tell sometimes since there is a lot of rebranding among suppliers. Basically the two most popular models are KR808-D1 and 510. There are others too. Some vendors say which model they're selling along with their branding, some don't.

You should start here.

The ECF Library

Here are some pics from that section.

In my mind I kind of divide them up based on threading and compatability. A KR8 battery will not work with a 510 atomizer/cartomizer and vice versa without use of an adapter.

If it's unclear what model a vendor has on their site due to branding you may want to visit that vendors subforum here to get more info.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Most 510 stuff will work with other 510 items. Modern Vapor's equipment has 510 threads, but also they use to have a lip on the fittings that 'Could' keep them from working with other 510 stuff, I think he was working on new fittings that got rid of the lip. The carts on the sidesho and 902 are for those e-cigs only and most likly with NOT work on other kits. His stuff is real good. Check out the new LUX model he is starting to sell, real sharp looking.

Hey Troussin,

I got my 1st kit, the 902 solo from MV and love it, ended up adding additional batt and SSatomizer to it so I have two complete sets....I went and got the Ego kit as well as I needed the batt power and can use the atty's from the 902 on my ego, and it is great as I can use the longer carts he sells on my ego (which had really really short carts...LOL)....The LUX he has coming out (which I thought was this week but haven't seen them on the site yet) are awesome, saw pics of them and they are similar to the Ego, but the batts are 900's....if you can wait, I would hit him up on the live chat and see when they are coming in (that will be my next purchase...LOL)...I got flat tips from him as well....he rocks!

Thanks for helping. One more question (at least for now, I'm sure I will have more later, lol) - where do I go to find the "live chat" with the supplier?
humarock - I agree about the LUX, I am considering getting it too, if I can get flat tips for it. So far I like everything I see at Modern Vapor and everything I have read from others here (ecf) sounds good. I haven't seen any major complaints and the supplier rep. (Tony?) sounds like he really tries to help his customers. Thanks again everyone for your help.
