First with a ohm checker. On my hana the ohm is changing all the time.how are you checking the resistance? i only use mech mod and i always use multimeter.
Well when I check it with the ohm meter it will also change when I touch the coil a little bit. Thank Im going to smoke now.....angryyyyyyyycheck it on the ohm reader and see if the resistance has changed. if it hasn't... your mod might not be able to make up its mind![]()
Guess Im not the only one...I have been having the exact same problem with my Lemos. I don't have the issue with ANY other atty or tank I own and I'm having this issue with every mod I put the Lemos on. Hana dna 40, Sigelei 100w, IPV2S. Both Lemos from different retailers and I've messed with the connection more times then I can count. It's really frustrating! Only happens to me occasionally but when you're vaping along at .7 ohms and 30 watts and the mod suddenly decides it's a 2.4ohm coil and starts feeding it 30watts, the result is a VERY unwelcome throat scorching nasty drag!!
Thankfully it only happens occasionally but I sure wish I could figure out what's really going on. I know it's something in the Lemo

It sounds like your coils are not fully secured to the posts. Check that the screws are properly fastened and your wire doesn't slip at all. Also, make sure that the coil or any left over coil legs don't touch the deck or the top cap.Well when I check it with the ohm meter it will also change when I touch the coil a little bit. Post screwsYes, that's the deck. Are you wrapping the leads around the post screws or using the holes?
Thx. I'll try tomorrow.Just a suggestions,
I can't see the lead in the end of the hole ( were the leads pass trough), so I will assume that you are trimming the leads before you tight them in the screws.
Try trimming the leads at the end of the hole, ( after you tight them with the screw)
Disregard all of this if my assumption was wrong.
Multi meter? That's not a ohm checker? There`s a loose, intermittent connection somewhere.
Curious, when you built the Lemo, did you dry fire it and make sure you were getting fire to the coil with any regularity?
A muti meter is your best friend, you cant always see a intermittent connection, but a multi meter can and will let you know where it is occurring at.
Yes, that's it. Basically, the coil should not touch anything, just the legs of it touching the post's.Is this the deck?
