As the title states I have an IGO-L and everytime I try to rebuild it I always get completely different OHM's even when I try to rebuild it the same way. I'm either getting really low .4 to 1.0 ohms or really high 2.6 or above. I have a smoktech sid and I would really like to try to get my ohms to right around 1.4 to 1.6 (it will not allow me to use anything lower then 1.4 I believe)........ I ran out of .30 kanthal so I only have .32 left with silica wick. How do I need to build my igo-l so that I can get around a 1.4ohm reading. More/less wraps with the .32 wire, wrap them tightly or loosely, not sure what I need to do as I am still brand new to vaping and even newer to rebuildables.

Thanks in advance,
Sean

To stay consistent with only variances of about .2 to .4 ohms roughly, 30ga or 32ga kanthal/nichrome, wrap the coil using a 4/40 machine screw, tightly in the screw threads, can find these at home depot or lowes pretty cheap. Then use 2mm silica, and beading threading needle, doubling the silica over in the needle eyelet, then pull the wick through the coil.

Here is a video showing this technique, though it states for Vivi Nova, Kanger T3/Evod/Protank heads, works real well when I'm building my RSST's as well as my T3's and Protank heads.
