Differentiate different clone manufacturers?

Hiya,

So, talking clone mechs etc. With another guy at my local B&M a fairly good question came up - How can the different clone manufacturers be differentiated?

I recently ordered a Black/gold nemesis which is currently on the back of a walrus from China, and was wondering if there's any way of pinning down who actually made it when/if it arrives.

Who did you buy it from?
Most manufacturers can be determined from examining the box. The better cloners tend to proudly display their names.
Tobeco, hcigar, Infinite, EHPro, Hotcig all have logos and branding on their packaging.

i would not buy a clone if it doesnt list a manufacture even if its super cheap. you never know what you will get. i have had good luck with hcigar and ehpro. i am going to try out infinite copper stingray next.

I nabbed the "cheapest" nemesis I could find on FT - 15eur shipped, and for that price I'm not really concernedm but it would be fun to identify who made it hehe.

Our local B&M also has the Infinite copper stingers up for grabs, they do appear really well made gelgoog.
It's quite a bit more than the nemesis from FT though!

Never go for the cheapest.
The most expensive one is only about $24.
Always read the reviews and discussions on FT.
Usually the members there state the manufacturer.

It doesn't look half bad Black/Gold Nemesis, and from what I can see on the reviews it's not the worst.
- I'm aware I'll most likely have to troubleshoot and work out a crunchy button. No biggie to me.

Fingers crossed I won't receive a lemon, because if I do, I'll have to go to the B&M and grab the Stingray or Cartel they have from Infinite.

I haven't had that problem (yet). I have three. Two are almost 6 months old now and in daily use so I dunno. So far, so good.

Maybe it's been sorted. The pin would wobble and get loose in the slot.
I've fixed about a dozen or so with that issue.

So, picked it up at the posties today.

Had to fix a hot button issue, but vaping away like a champ now.

Tje only thing I have left is the "Now I get it! Should habe done this earlier!" feeling.

Nice! Is the Nemmy your first mech then? I've been looking at a Nemesis myself, just to have one in the collection (not sure how it would compare to my Stingrays which have been flawless performers).

Aye, first mech - beem wanting one for a while now.. Pics will follow in the morning. Just finished moving to a new pad, and I don't feel like breaking out the camera

The black/gold scheme is a bit odd with a subtank mini, but I guess I can pull the trick the missus use? "But huuuuun - I need a topper that compliments the mod!"

You can seek out the black o-rings for the subtank mini, they are pretty cheap and would totally make it match

A match made in heaven!
- I managed to get the missus to be happy too... Subtank Nano and an iStick 50w...!
