I'm just too technically minded, I like learning things myself hands on. I think its a wonderful resource, even more so for new rebuilders and just about everyone should use it.
I just don't like being removed from the process so to speak, I understand and retain things better when I do them. Half the fun for me is the research
And no offense to the wonderful job done on the program, but to me things like heat flux are trying to over think things
....."In real-world applications one cannot know the exact heat flux at every point on the surface, but approximation schemes can be used to calculate the integral",
one of the problems is it is using fixed amounts for wire( I could be wrong). But go to temco then lightning vapes and compare 28g wire they both list different R per foot, which one is SE using? I personally can't trust that knowing that that variance exists.I've seen it first hand one takes 5 wraps another takes 6 while not exact 5 to 5 doesn't produce same results with different wires.
And I believe that variance is exactly why when using steam engine some people are still running into the odd problem once in a while.
