It's night here in Italy... hopefully tomorrow I'll get the answer if I'm allowed to use the images I've seen but.. well, I'll tell you guys that, to my knowledge, there are 2 versions in trial... they are apparently complying with the stricter "tpd" restrictions in some countries of EU and in one of the models there is a 5th hole for the afc, while the other has a different afc look.

The deck has a renewed style, even though they still maintain the "genesis" principle.

Hope I will be able to post the images for you !

Excellent scoop!!

So happy to hear about the 5th hole. That's an easy fix and one I hope will stick. TPD compliance means the tank won't have greater than 2.5 mls., correct? Is there anything that would make you think they're trying appeal more to cloud chasers or will they keep it as a tank for flavor chasers?

Do you have any idea when it will be available for consumers to buy from retailers?

Will you get to test it?

Hopefully the final project won't be using that tpd restriction.. but it's up to them... I've asked the people who are working with them and they said that the capacity restriction is due to Digiflavor's decision to stick in markets such as UK.

I'm not sure about which is the limitation coz, so far, it has been very messy : Italy has not that kind of restriction for tanks, UK decided to go for it but it's highly debatable ( considering BF as well... where do they fit in uk's legislation ?!? )

So I'm not sure which will be the ml capacity.

It's not definitely going to address to cloud chasers.

The project, as far as I've been told, started due to the decision by Digiflavor to discontinue the MTL side of their production and the discontent of this group of people who started talking with Digiflavor about their decision, trying to convince them to rethink on it. So the v2 is definitely going to fit that vacuum in the mtl side!

About availability I honestly have no idea, and the people involved in testing it don't know either since their collaboration is out of pure enthusiasm and passion (meaning they are not involved in the economical side of the project... they do the job for free :D )

And no, I won't be testing it... I wish I could :)

Thank you for sharing info with us!

Yay! This is the best news! I've been afraid their V2 wouldn't be MTL! Now I can relax and look forward to its release!

That would be too bad if the V2 was limited to 2.5 ml or so. Perhaps a larger capacity adapter could be in the works too? That would make it more worthwhile to checkout.

I'd still be interested if they at least resolved the seepage issues, but I'd be a heck of a lot more interested if the juice capacity was more like the current 22mm Siren. I understand their thinking though. Damn silly regulations.

I'm going to have to break down and buy a screwdriver set that includes a few different 3-prong (Y type) bits if I'm going to continue tinkering with my current SS 22mm Siren. Trying to use small flat head screwdrivers just screws things up too much for my liking. (No pun intended.) I hope the V2, if we ever see it, will be easier to work on.

I think one of the biggest pluses of the Siren is how much wick you can use in the thing, which really cuts down on dry hit issues - even when chain vaping. So I'm trying to figure out ways to add more wick length to my other RTAs (that don't leak like the Siren), in an attempt to see if that theory holds any water...or juice.

I may also try one of the black finished 22mm Sirens, as I understand they seem to have a lot fewer issues with seepage. Honestly, I think that is because the finish adds a few microns of thickness that help tighten tolerances. But that might be another theory that doesn't end up holding much water...or juice.

This is still a project but the people involved told me they are trying to keep the flavor production while making it a pure MTL device, and so far the results are pretty good !!

Looks good. Only complaint I have is the allen head screws...please no...

Hoping the wicking holes are reduced a little bit too. 3rd and 4th pics show the size difference.

Kind of hoping they reduce the height of the drip tip socket a little too. With the new style top cap it seems to be a little more extended.

The new air hole looks perfect, the wick slots might need to be reduced a bit more. It's hard to tell, maybe a side by side comparison picture with the original version would show more detail of wick slots. I want to thank you for bringing the photos to us Siren lovers. :)

Thank you Xvagabondx for the pics! This is so exciting! Seeing these pics make it real for me!

I love what I'm seeing so far! I am so happy to know this is one for the MTLers! The fifth hole alone is a huge plus. I don't know enough about allen screws to know if they'll be an issue for me or not. I can't wait to see what everyone else thinks about it because I've learned so much just from reading everyone else's posts here.

With the exception of tightening the positive post and sealing the base of the airhole, I'd prefer they left the build deck as it is currently. It's so easy to capture the leads with the Siren V1!

    Hey Digiflavor,

Bring on the Siren V2, please! We're ready and anxiously waiting!

I hope Digiflavor will support the V2 with a generous marketing and promotional budget. I don't think they did much in the way of supporting the V1 at all.

I have those tanks, you realise they are under NDA...the pics shouldn't have gone out...

Uh Oh! I'm sorry about that, but I am awfully glad I got to see them! Now, I feel like the V2 is really going to be a thing!

I'd love to know what you think of the V2, Vic.

Are you happy with the new changes Vic?

I think Vic said he is testing one of the V2s and he mentioned an NDA, which is probably a non-disclosure agreement. That might be the reason he didn't respond to our questions about the V2.

I just wish the build quality overall is better this time around. the V1 didnt have the smoothest of threading on both the ones I have. And the leaking/seeping should be sorted out.

I agree, Mav! The threading on the top cap is very crunchy! Fad found a fix for the seeping that has worked for many here. You can find it in this thread, but it involves tightening up the pin and installing an o-ring at the base of the airflow to seal it.
