Do you think that he Bailed on us ??

Fad was last seen:

I hope he's OK, I don't think that he would bail.

Thank you all for your concerns . Dr's. say that it will only get worse for me as I age, so I have that to look forward to:rolleyes:. Anyways, when it gets bad enough, they said that they will go in and burn some of the layers off of the electrical connections to my heart and that should fix me right up, but I have to wait till I get worse. I explain this just to let ya'll know that I will prolly go AWOL from time to time as things progress, but don't worry too much, they also said that I should live to be 90 ?? By they, I mean the Mayo Clinic, they are supposed to be the best, at least that's what they keep telling me ;). If it gets too bad I'll have my wife bring in my Tablet so I can at least say "Hey Ya'll" from my bedside :thumb:.

Just to let all the folks that are trying the different Siren fixes know, the Siren will never be a "Bone Dry" topper. When I was running my Siren 25mm with the glass enclosed coil deck, I saw the condensate fall back down into the air tube after I would take a draw, and after a while (2 or 3 tank fulls) the air flow adjustment ring would get that buildup and get all slick from it, and have to be wiped clean with a damp rag while rotating the air flow ring back and forth several times, then it was good for several more tank fulls. My "Toyota" can be used and be "Bone Dry" (if not over filled) but not my Siren's (and many other rta's for that matter) due to condensation buildup. It's not that bad really, I surely can live with it.

The prognosis sounds great for you 52, glad you will be ok.

I think I might be familiar with this procedure, 52. Did they refer to it as a Radiofrequency Ablation? If so, I'm definitely familiar with it.

It's relatively low-invasive (outpatient), and I've seen it work well. It doesn't necessarily last forever but it can help save you from having to take some pretty nasty meds for at least a few years (and could last much longer).

I don't know if they're recommending this to you right now, but if they are it may be worth consideration.

In the personal experience I am familiar with, symptoms began to recur in about four years, but the frequency was still much less than it had been prior to the procedure. I can't tell you any more than that, regarding regression, as that's the exact point (4.5 years) it's at today. The "research" remains ongoing. :-\

If that IS the procedure being considered, and you'd like me to keep you informed (for your own personal reference), I'd be happy to. Kat can provide you with my personal contact information, or reach out via PM, and please don't ever hesitate...

I know it can be difficult to deal with, and am sympathetic to the challenges. Our thoughts are certainly with you - that's for sure.

True about never being totally bone dry but a vast improvement from the shipped tank. I have a drop every 4 tanks vs about 2 mils seepage after the O-ring fix and that I can live with. A couple of my Sirens have been completely dry if I don't fill to the top.

I wish I could find some correlating factors that result in wet or dry, but mine are TOTALLY random. I'll continue running two at a time, but they'll never leave my desk. I like the vape but I've got other things that travel much better for me.

Out of the 7 I have only 2 that stay bone dry after the O-ring fix, but I will travel with the others if it's the first or second tankful after cleaning.

Mine go everywhere with me. Almost every time I leave the house, I've got three Sirens or two Sirens & one Ego One Mega atop a different mod in my purse. Since news of the V2 has come to us, I am torn between buying more Siren V1s or trying the byka v6, Skyline, or Doggystyle clones to try out. Decisions, Decisions...

Don't like the sound of the procedure, but, from what Longo said, it sounds like it is a good one! I'll be sending you good thoughts and cheering you on all the way, whatever path you choose.

I had to try the Doggystyle clone for $10.00 and very glad I did. It's like a mini Siren, flavor is very close, no leaks or seepage and with the right drip tip it's great and only $10.00. I have a Skyline coming that left China Friday.

I am excited to hear you like the Doggystyle! It keeps getting rave reviews! Please let us know what you think of the Skyline too. If you ordered used the epacket shipping option, I bet your package will land in the U.S. late this week or early next week. My last two China epacket orders made their way to me in record time. How many airflow disks did you order?
