Dihydrogen Monoxide - the Silent Killer.
Dihydrogen monoxide is a little harmless looking little chemical with the molecular structure of H-O-H. This little molecule, however, is not as innocent as it may seem. If ingested in large enough quantities it can be fatal. Inhalation can be fatal even in small doses. In the United States alone, accidental dihydrogen monoxide inhalation results in about ten adult deaths every single day (about 4,000 per year), two of which (1000/year) are children aged 14 or younger. This little killer has been found in everyday food items such as diet colas and salad dressing. It is even sometimes intentionally added to meats to make them more tender. In some countries it is sprayed by the gallon onto growing food crops to make increase their harvest. Even though it is responsible for thousands of accidental and unintentional deaths every year, including small children, the FDA STILL does not require warning labels on their products containing dihydrogen monoxide. PROTECT THE CHILDREN! PETITION THE FDA TODAY! BAN SALES TO MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 21 AND REQUIRE WARNING LABELS ON PRODUCTS CONTAINING DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE!
