Used all the software here but confused on one thing. I want to dilute 100 mg nic (100%pg) down as soon as I get it to 32 nic. But I dont want to add the flavoring to the whole batch at once.

I will have 250 ml's of 100 nic. Using the software here for a 70pg and 30 vg I add 179.40 ml of pg and 234 ml's of vg and 117 ml's of flavoring.....then I am at 32 nic.

If I dont add the 117 ml's of flavoring what level nic will I be at? I want to add later to smaller bottles

thanks....

Personally I don't bother diluting 100mg nic. I just use it in the recipe, it makes the math so much easier. It makes is especially easy if you mix in 5 or 10ml increments.

For example if I want to make 30 ml of 12 mg juice i just use 3.6 ml of nic...

I just worry about 100 mg nic....lots of safety concerns with nic that high. I know harder to play with nic ratio after diluted but just dont want that high of nic laying around....

sorry thought i gave all the info needed....lol

I have 250 ml of 100% pg 100mg nic. Looking for 32 mg nic using 70%pg and 30%vg.....but want to add the flavoring later playing between 10 and 20 percent.

My question was if I did not add the flavoring but just the pg and vg what level would I need to make 32 nic after 15% flavoring

If your 100mg is 100% PG, it looks difficult to meet your needs for a 70/30 PG/VG mix with 15% flavoring. I think to meet those requirements you're going to come up with a very large quantity of base liquid.

Best I can do with sleep overdue.

If your 100mg is PG, you will have to add some PG to the mix, rather than just VG to get a 70/30 ratio.

This will do it.
250ml 100mg PG
125ml 0mg VG
300ml 0mg PG
120ml flavoring

This will produce 795ml of juice with the following attributes: 69.2% PG, 15.7% VG, 31.45mg, 15.1% flavoring. The actual PG/VG ratio dependent on the base of the flavoring.

also be aware that if you make your nic base 70/30 the end product will not be 30% vg since almost all flavors are pg or alcohol based.

Edit: you would have to make you base at about 36% vg if you wanted the end product to be 30% vg. Well it would end up being around 30.1 but thats close enough for government work.

Can you see why I just mix it straight? :) 100 mg nic is safe enough if handled carefully and you use proper precautions in your storage and handling.

My attempt at a solution would be - mix it down to 50mg/ml at a 70-30 VG/PG ratio. It leaves room for varying amounts of flavouring and PG/VG ratio's, keeps the maths and measurements easy, and is relatively safer to store than 100mg/ml. It also means if in a few months time, you decide you'd like to try something with 20% or 25% flavour, or whatever, you aren't stuck.

So 250ml nic base would need to have 100ml PG and 150ml VG added to make 500ml of 50mg base @ 70/30 ratio.

You can easily make juice @ 32mg strength with 15% flavour with the right target PG/VG ratio from this base (see example). The "Nicotine ejuice" box in the resulting recipe refers to the mixed 50mg base BTW, not the 100mg PG.

I mix 100ml of a 24mg base from my 100mg because I generally use the same amount of flavoring. Makes it easy for me so all I have to do is measure out my base into the bottle and add the flavorings that I also ore mix. I only vape about 3 different flavors usually so it works out well for me.

I hate handling 100mg every time in case I mess up.

OK if you want to make it so that it's prepared in such a way that adding 15% flavouring will make a 32mg 70/30 liquid you need to mix as follows:

250ml Nicotine 100mg/ml
180ml PG
235ml VG

Total 665ml

Adding flavouring at 15% (117ml) to this will make 782ml of 32mg/ml liquid @ 70/30. This calculation assumes the flavouring is PG based, which it usually is.

The mix before flavouring added will be approx 37.59mg/ml (250*100)/665

Thanks that is just what i wanted to know...what nic level would be with out the 15% flavouring. So 37.59 mg nic would be a safe level to handle and just add flavouring
