So this is just something that popped into me head while sucking on my carto and looking at my untouched M401...

Drill a hole through the mouthpiece and into the cart with very small dremel...

and presto. instant cart to carto mod.

to fill use a syringe as per usual trough the top of mouthpiece and fill into the filler...

any thought?

I guess ill guinea pig this idea when i get the urge to experiment... but with existing cartos... its hard to get off my lazy ....

Nasti, did you ever try this?

My current fill .... is to pop the bucket up w/ a pin, stick the pin into the filler, and let the juice run down the pin. Then, when it looks full I use the pin to pull the filler up level w/ the bucket, and can then add another drop. I think the pin helps the juice go to the bottom of the bucket. Then I push the bucket down w/ the rubber plug like comes w/ the carts. Oh, and I use the XL carts from litecigusa. I can vape quite awhile on a cart filled like this. And oh, I have a syringe but I never seam to use it since I learned the "pin" trick. Allot of detail but the 401 newbies need it.

Hmm, does anyone else sell another type of larger cartridge?

Oh, and have the 401 cartos hit the USA yet? And, has anyone tried them. I am worried they will not have the 401 flavor I love so much.

Lady, not sure what Nasti ment but it was way back in Jan. Maybe drill a hole into the bottom of the bucket? Then fill w/ a syringe from the hole in the outer cart? Hey, could work? Could not??? Would be hard to know when it's full I think?

Filled like I said above I can get 3 401 carts nice and full, w/ no overflow, in 5 mins. I use the XL carts and, filled like this, 3 will last me quite a while. I have 10 XL carts and sometimes just fill em all up at once. Takes maybe 15 mins. I pop up all tha buckets, shake up all my juice, unscrew all tha lids, then.... take tha pin and juice to each cart.

Oh, they now have 401 cartos. I just can't find anyone who has reviewed them yet.

I just found the buckets can be pushed, I really had not idea. I intend on making a video because this didnt seem so obvious. Since they pop up, drilling a hole would be counterproductive I think.
But a carto, that might be kinda nice.
Are you using a PT? The fluid seems to go thru really fast, and I have to watch my puffing, or I will get the burnt taste of overheating atty.
Where might i find XL carts for a m401? I havent seen anything of the like.

Lady... PT? you talking about tea bag filler? If so, nope... just the filler that comes w/ the blank XL carts. IMHO that filler is a better quality than what comes in the starter kit carts. You can get them at Litecigusa. 3 bucks I think for a pack of 5. $15 and it's free shipping so maybe order an extra atty or batt? They have some other 40x stuff also. Cases and pouches.

Oh, let me know if you try my pin trick. Read carefully above if you do. By popping up that bucket you can see to not overfill and that keeps the juice from leaking out and into your mouth. And oh, I use a kinda large pin kinda like a hat pin. It's for keeping things in place when sewing. It has a head that looks like this kinda;

~

They have them a Wally World for maybe a buck for a BIG package. They are a bit thicker than a regular straight pin.

Great that the pin trick worked for you Lady!

Ahh, PT=pass through PTB= pyramid tea bag Daa, I knew that.

If you like the higher voltage from your PT you might want to try a 3.7v of device for when your moving around. 808 batteries or a 3.7 14500 mod of some kind. I have a 905 3.7v and the 401 attys work good w/ it. You will need a 901 to 401 thread adapter but they are cheep and easy to find. Or a riva/ego type battery. They work at lower than 3.7 but higher than a 401 battery. You would need a 510 to 401 adapter for this. All these are tricks that cost $$$ though. :~( Maybe just things to think about for the future. You need to do something w/ all that $$$ your saving by not smoking. :~)

Oh, and take a look at the model specific 401 section here at ECF. Some good info there.
