I knew when I bought the Npro that the batteries wouldn't be very likely hold a charge as long as the manufacturer claimed, but I had no idea it would be so short.

I fully charged both batteries last night. One was in the charger for about 8 hours and then right before going to bed I took it out and put the other one in. The first one I used today barely made it to lunch time and is now back in the charger. I am wondering how long the second one will last before having to be charged again.

I would expect to get a good 6 hours of moderate use out of one before it needed a recharge. Barely 4 hours is just not acceptable.

Can someone tell me if the battery in the Classic pen style sold on PureSmoker holds up any better? I would find 6 hours to be acceptable at this point although obviously longer would be even better.

Battery life - seems there is some variation in how somebody smokes. My husband and I are sharing batteries - five between us. We both smoked about 1.5 packs per day before getting into e-smoking. Yet, he goes through batteries 2 to 1, compared to me. I can't figure out exactly what he's doing to cause that. Maybe just puffing more often, I'm not sure. But I can get several hours out of a battery and it seems like he's coming in here with a dead one every two to three hours.

Yeah I'm sure how long/hard/often one draws has a lot to do with it. This morning I was focusing on not drawing as long and it does seem to have extended the life of the battery and the cart. Makes sense really.
