poland, and the brassy lands of google
Nice stuff Stormi! I don't get how this changes the burnt taste problem though, is the coil kept wetter? One observation just from the photos, when using the tube cutter it flares the thin SS tube edge inwards, and during the initial fitting of the syringe tube most likely expands some, so there ought to be some room for play with differing syringes. A bit of heat should help too.

ok so the juice basically stays unsuspended in that reservoir with no filler? this has to be awesome. is there a special material used as the wick? im wondering, because if that wick and those wires can be lengthened, theres potential to be able to add even more space to that reservoir, right?

Oh ya, folks are making bottle mods with them too. Anywhere from 3ml to 15ml if memory serves me ....
I don't have the right bottle dia, or i might try one of them too. It all seems so similar to stock, but the difference in wicking and flavor is night and day. Trust me the syringe mod is a FREAKIN GREAT VAPE!

Good find, here's the link.

The three I've heard of that people like are, all plastic 3ml:

Terumo- 8.95mm
Kendall monoject- 8.94mm
BD- 8.66mm

Seems like the BD is the smallest with the Terumo and K. monoject close. I can't imagine a tighter fit then the monoject I'm using. I had to push hard on it to seat.

Of course there may be different syringe models within each company?

I made mine with the BD 3ml and its tight. I had to boil the plastic tube and put the metal carto in the freezer. Then it pushed on HARD. I don't plan on taking it back off ever :) Never leaks out the bottom though. I don't need to travel with mine, its just a home unit. A regular with cut wicks and PTB is my travel set-up.

Before I go looking does anyone have a good linky to purchase the syringe for the mod? I used my only syringe from mad vapes which was a B-D. I heard the Terumo (sp?) brand was a bit softer and from what I understand a slightly larger ID.

I really hesitate to go into a pharmacy to ask about these and have to explain why I am wanting them, etc., as it doesn't appear that you can buy these off a shelf?

In your experience using the Terumo or monject's is the filler ring seating back in there properly? I am going to look on the net and try to find these for purchase...

Yes, the filler ring seats fine. Be sure to do this or any work w/ it threaded on a batt. I like to use an old one for work.
