I created an account here simply to defend someone's negative review of the Gamucci's Micro product, only to find out that until I make 0-5 meaningless posts my feedback is unwelcome. While this doesn't completely negate the value of the forum[from what I've read, this seems to be a great forum], it definitely shows poor management by the administrators, and is even mildly insulting.
Anyhow, I suppose I'll just post my feedback in this totally unrelated thread and hope it somehow makes it's way to the proper people:
Like a few others, I also received the Gamucci Micro as a xmas present. I had tried e-cigs a few back with little success[bad atomizers, etc] and figured the technology just needed more time to be perfected, so when I received the Gamucci I had high hopes that all the bugs had been worked out. They had not.
The cartridge only seems to produce a decent amount of vapor on the first drag or two and then reduces to almost nothing. Sometimes if I wait an hour the fluid will re-disperse and the micro will offer another decent drag. The cartridges also leak, which is tolerable to me since I'm so use to the taste of nicotine, but if you aren't you probably don't want a mouthful of it. The atomizer has a built-in cutoff switch, so when the cartridge refuses to give ample amounts of vapor, you can't even compensate by taking longer or more frequent drags. The batteries only seem to last a couple hours, even when not in use. I left a fully charged one sitting on the table overnight, and by morning it was dead.
And finally, to ice the cake, this morning[after less than 48 hours of use] I went to change the cartridge and the metal casing of the atomizer pulled off and got stuck in the cartridge. Yay for exposed wiring!
Not only has Gamucci not corrected any of the technical bugs I experiences from a few years ago, it managed to incorporate them all into a single, cohesive unit! And even added a new one[never saw an atomizer rip in half before]. I think I'm just going to look into these 510's I hear everyone talking about.
