But I'm so lazy! D-:< I don't want to have to press a button! Hah, I'm just kidding. Well, no, I'm not, I really am that lazy, but I may have to reconsider getting an automatic now. What's so unreliable about them? And I checked out the Riva kit. Looks good, though the liquid at this place seems a lil pricey.
the first auto batteries had a tendency to fire around loud music and noises. I've heard people say that this doesn't happen (much) anymore. The biggest problem is eliquid dripping into the hole and frying the battery circuits. Liquid causes a short circuit condition.
A manual battery with a sealed connection will still short from the e-liquid, but the protection circuit will kick in and the battery wont be fried. Cleaning the atty threads and the battery connector will solve the short and you can continue vaping. Make sure you blow out the atty/carto real fast so more liquid won't drip back in immediately and recreate the short circuit you just fixed.
