Dawn, sorry you are having these issues, but like everyone ( that knows what they are talking about and not being helpful in anyway except to blame the vendor ), it's easy to raise the post on the battery. Just take a very slim pointy object and gently insert it into the airholes at the same time gently lifting. It takes 3 seconds to do. I have a batt that i always have to do that to, but I love how it performs, so a little tune-up doesn't kill me :)

I have no idea if this will do anything lol. But the other day, a battery I've had for a while went a bit crazy when I accidentally hit the switch while putting it in the charger. It kept flashing for a longer time than normal. Then it went back to normal. Maybe this could possibly reset it somehow? IDK lol. But at this point, it's worth a shot.

You know for the money that we all pay for e-cig stuff, we shouldn't even have to mess with the hardware and fix it to where we can use them right. That is just so wrong. But that IMO. :)

Why do I have a PS2 that is nine years old, still works like a champ and a PS3 that is four years old with a dead Bluray drive? That's pretty wrong to me! Also a big price diff!
And no, she doesn't have to mess with it, if it works it gives her something to vape on while waiting for the new one.
And on another note, how many vendors will have a new one out in three days after a problem like this? Most would have you send it in, they test it, on their own sweet time, then they might send you a replacement. This is "No questions asked!" They send you a new one, you put the old one in the envelope they supply you with and it's done.
We offer suggestions to fix things because now and again simple little stupid fixes can take care of a minor problem and get people going. I've also yet to see a suggestion offered that is much, if any, harder than filling a carto.

I must confess that my first order put me on edge a little since I didn't receive exactly what I ordered, but I got all sorts of freebies to make up for it, adjusted my attitude, and placed another order.
When I received a pcc in my starter kit that didn't work properly. I came here. After getting some great advice (thanks again m. edison) I completed a trouble ticket and without any difficulty or questions, I was told that they would send me a new pcc the next day.
No, no company and no product is 100% perfect, 100% of the time. The difference is that there are companies that make it right without question. V4L is one of those companies. I'm happy with the service that I've received, and grateful for the users here that are kind enough to answer questions. Not to mention the V4L staffers that are here to respond to anyone with a problem or a question. It's not every day that you see that kind of commitment to a consumer base. I think the loyalty of the forum users speaks for itself.
Life's short, be flexible.

And it never hurts to know how to fix these things on your own since you can mess them up anytime by screwing them into the charger just a little too tightly. I was grateful to read what to try if a battery does not draw. And it has worked for technologically challenged me every time. Thanks to all for their "fix tips".

My Trash-80 Model I (Circa 1978) and my Vic20 (Circa 1981) still run fine. So does my PDP08 (Late 1960's). But 30%+ of the thousands of sticks of RAM we bring in, "quality" "lifetime warranty" stuff, fails within 72hrs. And even the "long uptime" motherboards puke after 18mo of running them at 100% 24/7.

Dawn, your replacement was shipped today

Thank you so much! And a double thanks for shipping it to my mom's.... I mean it's bad enough I'm here for the week but without coffee vape? That would just end badly

There are two things required when traveling to mom's.... plenty of ecig supplies and a years worth of valium...

Thanks again dohsma, you guys have been great :thumb:
