I've had my two aga-t for over 2 weeks now. I've done everything from cheesecloth, cotton balls, cotton candle wick, ss mesh, ss rope, and fc2000 wicks. Tried different gauge kanthal, drilled out bigger wick holes, intake holes and still can't get the right combination of flavor, vapor, or TH as my cheap vivi nova's. I know I'm wrapping correctly, I've done low ohms, high ohms, touched wraps, wide wraps, twisted wraps and just can't get what I want. I had so much hope when these came in. I'm so tired of wrapping and prepping coils and wicks, now it's just depressing looking at everything on my work bench. I have an Igo-L coming in later today and I don't even wanna think about wrapping that. Maybe I'll try again in a week or so when my new mechs come in.

/end rant

It could just be preference. I was using an Octopus that I loved, then I ordered an Igo-l. I had a similar issue with the Igo, despite all the great reviews it, just wasn't the same for me. I gave it to a friend and he loved it, but I was never impressed. Unfortunately just broke my Octo, and waiting on vape-mail to bring me a new one. I guess I should probably order a backup because it has been a rough week without it. It's supposed to be here today, though, can't wait!

Corgi - why not start from the other end? I mean, figure out exactly what type of TH, V & F you are looking for and then decide what materials (gauge of wire, wick type etc) could give you that in your AGA T2.
Sounds like you are trying every combination and the seeing if that works.

Just a suggestion!

Check out eHuman's blog...he has some interesting tips on the AGA-T. I too found it an exercise in frustration and have just now started to get good results from it.

The IGO-L on the other hand....you won't have a problem with. Loved my first one so much I immediately ordered two more. The only setup I had issues with was a dual coil eight wick monstrosity I concocted. There's a lot of room in the IGO...but not that much room.

I played with the Aga-T for weeks and just plain didn't like the vape from it. Every atty is slightly different in what it produces, maybe its just not for you. I sold mine to someone who has several of them and loves them all.

Ithaka on pre-order for me, 2 months of waiting arghh !!!

I absolutly LOVE my Ithaka. IMO it is a better vape than any genny ive tried and ive tried alot. As for the OP, the flavor may be a little better on the vivi (maybe) but the aga should be much much superior in every other catagory IMO. If your vivi is giving more throat hit and more vaper production than the genesis I would have to think that the genny is still not setup right. If it is they shouldnt even be close in comparison in vapor production and TH
