Disassembling an 801 battery?

I'm sure there is a thread for this already, can someone kindly point me to it? or give a quick run down on how to do it? I tried brute force, and that wasn't too productive

Twirl the battery over a flame for a few seconds, attach and atomizer and gently pull the connector out of the battery tube. The flame loosens up the adhesive holding the connector.

thanks man, i thought that was the ticket, but was nervous about exposing it to flame, and having a battery explode!

U Can Use A Hair Dryer, Hot Plate, Coffee Maker Heater or Heat Gun Too!

Just Get The Threaded End and 3/8 of The Battery Good & Warm, Do Not get It Hot, it Should Come Right Out With An Atomizer On It Or Use Good Pliers With Cloth Or Rubber (to prevent thread damage, use care its soft) To Slowly Pull It Out.

The purpose is usually to use that threaded part to attach an atomizer to a battery mod.

Sorry, i totally neglected this thread, i want to build a nicostick, and i have 5 801 atomizers around and 1 901, so i figured doing an 801 made more sense.
