Disassembling ego mega (cone) atomizer?

Hey, so I just got my ego usb passthrough and ego mega atty's in, tried to disassemble the atty so I could dewick, but only managed to pull out the connector piece while the rest of the atty didn't budge... needless to say, this atty is now non functional unless I can get the rest of it out to resolder the leads...

So, anyone know how to take the ego mega atty apart? The standard back and forth (push pull) method that I use with all my other atty's doesn't work ><

why do you want to dewick it, wouldnt that stop the juice from getting from the bridge to the coil?

do you have the type b or type a ego atty?

Yea, why do you wish to dewick it? It's a newer model designed to burn more vapor. It has bigger heating element. The cartridges are slightly bigger too.

Dewicking is kind of beside the point at the moment.. when I decided to dewick it was because many people suggest doing so for dripping (on other carts, not on this one specifically).. anyhow, I tried to disassemble it and ended up only pulling the atty connector itself out, thus breaking the atty.. so what I really need to know is, how can I take the rest of the atty out of the cone so I can resolder the leads?

Sorry I never went through those experience. I do not know what to do next. I had some bad attys and I did try to dismantle it. I found that the component inside was glued to the casing - not screwed. I presume that it would be the same with the cone. If the thing inside is glued, it would not be easy to dismantle.

Do not believe that dripping rocks. It is for advance users only. Ego mega have bigger cartridges for the fact that it should hold more juice. At the same time, the size of the cartridges isn't that friendly either. Gravity pulls the juice fast and hence floods the atty too often. It has to be experienced.
