Discharge rates of batteries in VV/VW devices.

Hey guys,

I'm pretty familiar with discharge rates of single batteries on a mech mod, in the context of voltages and resistances. I'm still a little iffy on VW mods. I'm getting a Cloupor T-8 in later today, a 150W dual 18650 mod. From what I've seen the ideal resistance on this mod is ~0.4Ω - 0.6Ω. Now worst case scenario, lets say I take this thing up to 150W (probably won't). How can I tell how much amperage I'm drawing from these two 18650s?

Use the calculator linked below. Since the batteries are in series, use 8.4V for your battery voltage to model a full charge. Keep in mind that amp draw increases as the battery voltage decreases. Safest bet is to run your calcs using the minimum input voltage for your mod.
