Could also be called the Rave mod
Blu's blue LED has nothing on this! I picked up a VMOD 2.0, and while it vapes great, it doesn't have any disco lights on it. Well, problem solved!
Quick and fun modification for the VMOD bottom feeder. Add a color changing (or regular) LED that activates when you press the button. No tools or soldering required! No permanent modification to the device, either.
All you need to do is wedge an LED in the slot by the tank, and bend the pins so that one comes in contact with the battery wire, and the other with the spring on the switch. You'll have to put something between the leads to keep them from touching each other and short circuiting, I used the tip of a toothpick. You could also put heat shrink tubing around one or both of the leads, but that might make it hard to fit in the slot. Pressure from the battery holds everything together and ensures a good connection. If you press the button and you don't get any sizzle, it might be shorting out. Stop and check it immediately! Same goes if the LED doesn't light up. Probably worth taking a look at.
I've taken it apart a good 10 times, and everything has stayed in place just fine. Your mileage may vary.
