I haven't tried any of the eliquids that you listed, but I like custards and never mint. I too don't care for the majority of juice purchases that I've made. I'm happy if there are a handful of flavors that I can tolerate at any one time because it's common for me to eventually move on from something that I really liked for a while. I can only suggest that in my experience some eliquids taste different in different atomizers, so you may want to try one in different toppers before you give up on it. Also, take advantage of vendors that offer sample packs or small sizes to increase your odds of finding something good.

I'm trying to get into DIY. I have lots of supplies and flavors, just not enough time or impressive results yet. I still prefer vendor juice, although it is my intent to perfect my craft and become more independent. Flavorless juice at your preferred strength is great for diluting an over-powering store bought juice or just standalone from time to time.

Keep your suggestions coming in guys!

The best part of DIY is having simple flavors you can combine on a whim and make what I call a Mood Mix. Whatever fits my mood at the moment. I need to start keeping track of what I do with them because I have made some wicked blends but forgot what I did!

When you mix flavours, are you able to mix flavours from other brands too? Or is that a no no?

You can do anything you like as I have taken a great e-Liquid from Great Vendor and spiced it up a bit just last night. I wanted something with a little extra so I combined some of my DIY with some of a store bought. Nothing is forbidden as long as you like it. I did a tank mix so if it tasted like crap I would have just washed out the tank and started over.

I DIY now. I just looked for recipes that were similar to vendor ones. Bought the ingredients and mixed. Actually, to lower shipping costs, I only but ten flavors at a time, so I found a FEW recipes. I made the recipes, recorded heavily the notes, and put them away for steeping.

I am up to about 75 flavors for one reason or another now. Yesterday, I just happened to take my 4 Apples and added each to a bit of cream and they are now steeping. I will test each to determine the differences. Notes, notes, and more notes.

I have some tropicalish fruit flavors that I want to mix. I will prolly make about 6-7 different mixes at different percentages. Tinkering is okay.
