That's actyl pyrazine (a bread flavor) not actyl propinol.

Holy crap you're right, just went to the specific thread I was referring to and later someone refers to it as acetyl pyrazine.

That sure is confusing, I thought people were just adding acetyl propionyl to their juices (seems unruly).. Although, I'm sure there are people actually doing that.

Not me. I tried an analog after about 6 weeks of vaping. It tasted like :censored:! Took 2 puffs and couldn't throw it far enough away. But I have done some research on the DA/AP thing and found that (with a few exception) the levels in e-juice are a lot lower than what you would find in cig smoke. I'm vaping as a $ saver and for my health, but occasionally I still like a tank full of some V1 custards. It's a personal choice.

I like to sit in the smoking section and catch that first light up of someone's smoke.

So I decided to see how my unflavored base would taste with a light touch of tobacco flavoring. I had maybe half of the bottle left, so 7-8 mL. I added 5 drops of FA Desert Ship. Way too strong. Had to cut it back with a little more VG. Didn't add any more nic though, I think I overestimated on the nic when I first mixed.

It's not bad now. I like Desert Ship, it's sweet but still has a tobacco-like aroma to me, unlike many other "tobacco" flavors that are just sweet and don't really remind me of tobacco at all. It has a bit of a perfumey hint to it that I bet would go away if I gave it time to steep.

Any other tobacco flavors I should try that are good in a light-flavored mix?

I learned something new. Always a good thing.
