hey guys,

I quit smoking cigarettes about a month ago and picked up vaping. I mostly used the Schwartz upside over and over. I used the downside a few times too. I use 12 mg nicotine. About a week ago I picked up the usual upside and downside and also unicorn milk. The night I used unicorn milk I started developing stomach pains. I had no diahrea that night but I was gassy. Now for the next 3 days I have diahrea and random stomach pains. I thought I got a stomach virus or got too cold at night when I was sleeping ( that gives me the exact same symptoms ) I finally figured out it was the vape giving me these nasty problems because right after I vape my stomach would start to hurt. I've switched back to the downside but I'm still getting these issues. I just wanna be able to vape without having to run to the toilet 10 mins later.

I use the kangertech subox mini starter kit if that matters. I've been thinking about switching to unflavored juice since I'm really in it for the sake of a replacement for cigs. Not the flavor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is a big reason why I quit doing juice reviews. There would be flavors that would upset my stomach so quick where I'd spend 30 minutes nonstop being sick. It's why I switched to unflavored (pg/vg/nicotine). I vaped to stay off of cigarettes and dip, not to vape yogurt or candy flavors. I haven't had an upset stomach since then.

I'm not familiar with what you are using but do those have sweeteners in them? Seems sweeteners are are a fairly common problem for some people, myself included. I made a juice (I can't stress how much) I loved but it gave me extreme problems ........ (worst I'd ever had) and acid reflux type symptoms. Took me forever to figure it out, along with a healthy respect with for the excruciating pain people with acid reflux go through, and quit vaping it. Problem slowly went away. Hope this helps.

I usually get it when I vape too much. For me, it's a symptom of too much nicotine.

Buy some lower nic juice in the same flavours you have already and mix them together. For example, buy some 6mg, mix it with the 12mg to give you 9mg.

Others may suggest adding plain VG to your juice to lower the mg but doing so will also dilute the flavour.

There's certain juices that give me tummy problems. I've been vaping so long, 4 years, that I know right away when I first taste certain flavors that it will bother my stomach. Some of us just have more sensitive stomachs than others. Just take note of the flavors in the juices that upset your stomach and try to avoid those in the future.

It seems like unicorn milk was the issue for me, but my stomach issues are now entering the 4th day even though I'm using my usual "downside" flavor right now. Maybe I should just find some unflavored asap? Or maybe I need to take a one week break from vaping altogether? I doubt it's the nic level, I have never had any issues with nicotine no matter how much I ingested. Thanks for the help guys

I had this problem too when I first started. I was vaping The Milkman, Unicorn Milk, and a STRONG vanilla custard... I switched over to flavors without added sweetener, and a lower nic level, and now if I chain-vape (especially on weekends) I just get a small headache (not recommended) but that's all. Try some other juices, or go unflavored if you really desire to.

I would try unflavored for a few day's before I would try nothing for a week, you are still at the withdrawal stage from not smoking, one good way to find out if it is the nic...............

Not to be an alarmist but I went through the same thing. I thought it was vaping or my juice. It kept getting worse over the course of 5 days. Found out when I landed in the ER that it wasn't vaping, my colon had perforated 5 days earlier and I was about an hour from dying when I hit the ER. 9 days in the hospital the first round and an emergency surgery, a month later was 5 days in the hospital and they removed 18cm of my colon, did surgery on my bladder and small intestine as well as had to remove my appendix from the damage that was done.

Definitely not saying this is your situation but if the pain gets bad go to the doctor, you never know what is going on and stomach problems can be bad news.
